This is so lit !! Wished I saw this before buying the liplay. Hahaha. I love these kinds of cameras. One thing I will have a problem with it is the expansiveness of the film. Not afraid to take a lot of pictures tho. I'm afraid to go bankrupt buying lots of films. Hahaha
I've taken 15 photos, one is good, one is overexposed, the other 13 are black. I've tried with every light and also with the flash, indoor and outside. Can someone help me?
Nice video, i just got mine Diana instanx square, qnd i got a question about it. I can figure out how mount the viewfinder for the 110 telephoto, it doesn’t fit with the 75 external One. It seems ti be built for the film Diana ,but not for the instax. Any idea? Ty!
Mine is biting into top edge of the film. Black stuff is leaking out. Stains all over the place. Not every image but happened in both the film packs I used so far.
Hi Marco, do you have any experience with the other glass lenses? Because as you say that 75mm is sold out. How about the 55mm or 110mm? Do you know if they have vignetting issues? Thanks!
Helloo, İ bought this camera without flash. The result was black when İ tried to shoot at night. And also, in daytime, it was not good experience. Can you give me advise to shoot in daytime as options ?
I would use a cell phone light meter app. The camera will need to be set to bulb setting and f11. You'd enter f11 in the light meter app, take a meter reading and then use a cell phone to time the exposure.
Hey Marco, thanks so much for the video. Thinking of getting this with the glass lens but I can't find many sample photos and really don't know how bad it is! How drastic would you say the difference in vignetting is between the normal and glass lenses? Love your channel by the way :)
Am still learning to use mine. Especially exposure guessing. Need to drag out a meter to help. NOT for shooting with - after sunset. Too slow a lens. Time exposures are problematic…
thank goodness-someone else with the same issue I've been having. I've been going through pack after pack of the films, I get maybe one decently exposed photo per 10. Its really depressed me to the point I've stopped using it.
@@drwhoscumrag I haven’t shot since maybe early September. Need to see if maybe the shutter speed is no longer accurate. I was seeing round vignettes but all was waaaay over-exposed. Was shooting a young special needs man at an event and got no usable prints. He was upset. But so was I.
Try a light meter app on your phone. On the app, set shutter speed at 1/100 sec and then see if the available f-stops give you a good/correct exposure.
Just got mine yesterday, did two packs in studio :D Yeah, vignetting is huge, but still fun for me :D I'm excited for pinhole - anyone knows the curve for reciprocity failure on instax film? (for hp5 it's Tm^1.31 :P)
I've tried experimenting with Instax in a homemade paper pinhole camera and gotten somewhat usable results. As far as I can tell, it corresponds similarly to that of Fuji Xtra 800, so maybe grab the data sheet for that and experiment.
Thanks for the review. Just on time! I was considering investing on one but the vignatte puts me off instantly, and the VF doesn't help either - phewww just dodged a bullett 😰 I guess that for instant square I will have to go with Lomo', though the shutter button might be a problem...! #therearenoperfectinstantcameras Nevertheless, all things considered, I think I am a Lomo' kind of woman and not so much Instax. So Diana Instant Square was quite a nice effort!

Upload more frequently dude, your videos are great!
i try, should be better next year but currently so damn busy at work that its hard
That’s fair, just want to encourage you dude.
How is this vs the Lomo Instant Square? As they are both glass lens… which is better?

damn, you should check with lomo to get a replacement. both the prototyp and new camera worked fine for me

Can you use the accessories for the regular Diana F + with this camera? Specifically the viewfinder attachments and cable release?
maybe you could ask lomo, cause i'm not 100% sure
Yes! 😏 but with other Diana lens
Love this camera.. what lens and exposure for indoor shots??... I've used 2 film packs trying to work it out ..
for indoor you need the flash
@@AnalogThings How can İ find the flash ? İ didnt find it. Can you attach the link ?

Hi! Mine does not eject the film and it never did; he is new! I hope you still response to this old video😊
get in touch with Lomo to get a replacement
Hi there. Mine is currently not ejecting the films.. have you heard of this problem?
puh, that can have a ton of reasons. did it work before?

the vignette you is really more depending on the focal lenght, with the glass its the best but stil pretty visible
@@AnalogThings Ah ok. I think I'll probably give it a miss then for now. Thanks for your reply. Much appreciated!
@@alexe1003 you can almost fully get rid of the vignetting using the 55mm lens (costs about $49)

I'm not a fan of these "instant" cameras. Plus the photos produced on these "instant" cameras are bad.
