He is so strong mentally. I wish nothing but the best for him
@jadem Thank you for taking the time to watch some of my story. Much love
You seem so cool! It’s amazing you don’t let this get you down. I was prescribed another anti psychotic med today. Pretty nervous about even trying it.
Hey @Danster547 thank you for reaching out and leaving a comment of positivity. Throughout life, you will be thrown curveballs, however, do not be nervous about them. Just simply stay on top of any potential side effects that could appear with your current medication. Sorry for the three months delay on this response. Have an awesome and blessed new year!
Ik zou het niet doen 🤔
He really makes me feel like there's hope. The hardest part for me is that I don't have jerky movements at all-I have facial twitches and involuntary eye movements. People don't understand how tiring it is just to do regular, everyday things. My strength has lessened significantly. I do what I can and try to stay as positive as I can. I loved my job but it's so hard just to work for a few hours at a time.
After one week of taking seroquel for PTSD. I too developed TD. Thankfully my Dr immediately apologised and advised me that the medication had caused this and to stop taking it immediately. It took over two years for the symptoms to go away, and other than trouble with some fine motor skills whilst using both hands at a time, I am almost free of this devastating affliction which completely devastated my entire way of life.
Stay strong mate, and stay away from the pharma poisons. The pills don’t work....they only make things worse!
Hey, Bird Gal from Down Under! Thank you so much for viewing this piece from the HealthGrades. It was great to have the opportunity to work with them to film this snippet of my journey. But, even MORE AWESOME to read that you've been freeing yourself from the awful side effects that medication can cause in even a short amount of time! For any more on my story drop by my page so we can help spread the awareness! Much love, Brian
After one week of use, you had it for two years?
pretty much the same happened with me on seroquel
I really hate how psychiatrists almost never ever mention the side effects which are in themselves, full blown life limiting conditions. TD, its distant terrifying cousin Akathesia, the baby cousin RLS. Its like yeah you won’t hallucinate but yoy may develop this new condit
Precies! Zij hebben geen idee hoe het uitwerkt bij de enen mens of de andere
Sorry to hear of your story, which antipsychotic were you on at the time?
Thorazine is a well-known cause of tardive dyskinesea, but I don't know for sure
Most Typical Antipsychotics can cause it. Newer gen Atypical Antipsychotics have a lower risk
Thanks for watching and asking. At the time I was given 11 medications over the 6 year period before being diagnosed. I'd point towards Haldol as the first medication that led to side effects of the pulling in my neck.
I think you know antipsychotic is very bad and u r not in good condition but u switch your tablet with ayurvedic medication by an athontic medicine some previllage in india taking good result in them but it very very hard to find this ayurvedic doctors in previllage
Thanks for sharing that info Amit! I am personally unfamiliar with the medicine you speak of however very grateful for the hospitals here that had taken me in and provided me with this diagnosis of TD. It's rough, but things could always be worse, right? Again, thank you for stopping by and watching my interview with HealthGrades!
Topper 👍🏻💕
Benadryl helps
Thanks for the comment. Ive had a number of people actually develop from taking benadry. If that is working for you, truly AWESOME! However, each person will react or respond differently to each medicine and it will go on to be called "medical practice" for that reason. Thank you again for taking the time to watch and respond with your comment! Have a blessed 2024!
En vooral geen covidspuiten of boosters nemen!! Dat maakt het nog erger👍🏻💕
What about the new medication AustudeoXR? Or is it also a psychotic Medication?
Hey @mikecatg Brian here from the video. I'm personally unfamiliar with this drug you mentioned but would recommend speaking with your doctor or neurologist, regarding that medication, and any potential side effects that you can't keep a watchful eye on. Have an awesome and blessed new year!
