I remember LHW Division used to be the most competitive division at the time when Jones arrived on the scene. It was swarming with rankers like Shogun, Machida, Rampage, Rashad etc. And Jones just wiped the floor with all of them and instantly became apex predator in the divison.
Jones was the man who reigned in this new era of fighters, they're all untouchable compared to the old roster.

Bones was groundbreaking when he arrived, I'd been watching UFC and Pride for a couple years at this point, he was great for the sport. EVERY SINGLE fight had people on the edge of their seats and each time they delivered magic. Khabib, GSP (DJ was also incredible, can't forget him)...on paper sure, they are up there but they didn't entertain like Bonesy or Silva.

Love him or hate him, he’s the best
Point blank period
Ya he's the goat... anyone who trains or has legit mma knowledge can't argue that, he the best I've ever seen, and I'm not so sure he wouldn't clean out the heavyweight division as well, imo Francis could catch him and stipe is a badass mfer but i think jones beats either of them.
@@ryannorman4293 GOAT status gets thrown out once you pop for PEDs, sad thing is you will still defend it even though he has pissed hot the last 5 fights in a row
David Salazar
PED’s don’t create skill, but they do taint the goat title
@@HellYeahDude5000 jones is the best I've ever seen. It wasnt a vitor situation he was never proven to have taken them, and whilst I think he most likely did, I know this sport I've been watching it since ufc 3 live, and with or without steroids he's the goat. Anderson and gsp are right behind him but I believe jones beats anyone, any weight division in the ufc.
7:15 when the announcer didn't say it but the guy is putting his belt already XD
Simply the GOAT
Look at Machida .The way his body dropped. For a fact if their was no ref, Jones was catching a body that night on one of the best martial artists in the world
@BackWoodWizard imagine taking pride for years as one of the best martial artists in the world.. for YEARS... only to be left unconscious by some 20 year old in devastating fashion
Nothings ever been more disrespectful than Jon Jones choking Machida unconscious and just letting him drop to the floor. I love that shit.
The Michael Jordan of MMA
Let him come in Heavyweight division. 😂 Francis would smoke him out
Aomine he would whoop his ass just like how stipe beat his bitch ass
Nope .
Lebronjames is the real goat.
If their is mj of mma its gsp or khabib .
Still trying to find a submission more brutal than the standing guillotine on Machida
Everytime he hit Thiago Santos he went flying across the ring.
🤣
