Honestly, my favorite to happen to music last year was probably when Adam Gontier returned to Three Days Grace after an absence that was over a decade long. Shortly after that announcement, they released the first song since Gontier’s return called “Mayday”. I’m not even like a really big fan of Three Days Grace, but “Mayday” just feels so special to me, and I really like it as a song too.
There was so many things that happened this year, it was so crazy. Moments like the whole KDot v Drake fight, the multiple drops in Hip-Hop from several cool artists (Denzel Curry, KDot, Tyler, The Creator, SchoolBoy Q, Future, & etc.), and not to mention all of the new music drops this year in general from many genres!!! It was so cool!!! :DD
Don’t forget the Great Ant War of 2023 coming to an end with the flooding of Asheville dwindling the Fire Ant Nation’s resolve. Things are looking a lot better but they are still pretty tense right now and I worry that they may be rebuilding and biding their time for another assault against the Carpenter Ants and their heavy fortifications. Rumor has it that there is a courier ant who has been sent to deliver a chip that might just be the key to the future of all ant kind…

For our sins we deserve hell, but God loves us so much he came as Jesus to pay the price of our sins so we can receive eternal life if we repent and obey him in faith ✝️
2024 was such a good year of music for me that I was able to get like 230k minutes on wrapped. Twenty One Pilots, Tyler, Kendrick, 21 Savage, Last Dinosaurs, and Future were in constant rotation.
I followed the launching of Clancy and listened to it the day it was release and it was really good, even though I know almost nothing about their lore. After that I just felt that it was too much for me and stopped listening to them. Is their music worth my time?
It's definitely not for everyone but I would say that it can be worth your time to listen to their album Blurryface because the variety of that album gives you a view for what they have to offer. imo their discography to me is really good because it's something that you wouldn't hear anywhere else. Vocals, drums, instruments, and lyrics are always interesting and I like basically all of their songs.

Adam Gontier's a legend. Matt's good too though
@@prod.by11lusive The entire band is a legend. Always was. Always will be.
The Marias Submarine is so goated, went to see them in concert and cried at how beautiful the performance was, I would LOVE to see them again
Rumor has it that there is a courier ant who has been sent to deliver a chip that might just be the key to the future of all ant kind…
don't forget The Cure releasing their first album in 16 years
getting a tyler and kendrick album and both of them being some of there best work (I SAID SOME DONT JUMP ME GKMC IGOR AND TPAB FANS) is absolute crazy work
Did literally nobody Notice that Yuno Miles dropped a Album and it actually has good Songs?
Yuno hasn’t dropped any bad song he is the greatest rapper ever
Yeah that EP was heatttt
I think there must have been some kanye influence/help
I heard it and it had some bangers
even outside popular music, this year was amazing
"How dare TH-cam gatekeep this from for for x seconds" 🤖
Hahaha
this guy honestly has the some of the best views on music on the internet.
Bro so many G.O.A.Ts have made so many great albums. Best year for music since a long time
What are you talking about ye dropped his worst album ever
@airtight-gamingnews3910 yea but besides Ye having his worst year ever 2024 was a great year for music
@@Your_Macedonain_Homie and Em, and Kendrick dropped some of their weakest.
@@Lagchunk okay ems album is one of his weaker one but Kendrick did NOT drop his weakest
@Your_Macedonain_Homie What would you put under it? The only one I'd say is OD, all of his other albums easily completely wipe GNX. It's not even close, better in every aspect imaginable.
As a huge Porter Robinson fan, I'm so glad you and so many others are discovering him from SMILE! :D
realll, i’ve been a fan since shelter days and im so happy i got to see him live as well
@@caitlynsult2685 Same, He throws one hell of a show.
I like the 80's era. Mainly music from movies like Breakin'
damn right. 80's music is awesome
funk, rock, disco, city pop, eurobeat, u name it
Fr Like im annoyed at being overly nostalgic for the decade like it was the greatest decade ever but DAMN I CANT EVEN DENY THE MUSIC FIRE
80s and 90s music is just on another level. It's not even comparable imo.
@@FlanPoirot I recently got into City Pop and Eurobeat music in 2024
my favourite era for music is late 70s to mid 80s because so many peak goth and post-punk albums were released at the time
Thank you for including smaller artists and giving them attention as much as the mainstream. Great vid!
12:43 porter was actually pretty big 10-12 years ago in the edm scene and despite changing his style a few times has kept dropping bangers
I started listening to The Marías two days ago and man I wish I started sooner, I honestly can't wait to have them as one of my top artists this year
Honestly 2024 really made me venture out in VERY different genres sad to see that Spotify wrapped was garbage and didn’t tell me how many I listened to 😞
I wish it was something they do every wrap
He’s at that point where he can just upload a vid about anything and touch at least 100k😭😭love you man I’ve been a fan since the playboi carti vs Beethoven❤️❤️
Love your vids bro. I legit put them in my headphones to sleep sometimes🔥

I think this is also the one that had the most underrated projects for alternative musicians, my favorite one being from TH-camr/alternative rapper Quadeca with his Scrapyard mixtape. Can’t wait for his next project, Vanisher.
This list of best music, is great! , Degenerocity the goat.

For our sins we deserve hell, but God loves us so much he came as Jesus to pay the price of our sins so we can receive eternal life if we repent and obey him in faith ✝️

No bap 2024 was one hell of a yr for music
Porter Robinsson's older song "Sad Machine" is one of his best. And "Shelter" is a classic
6:59 Bro said “GYAAAAT”
Honestly, it's just nice to see some positivity. Great vid
