Another TH-cam resin artist, Steve McDonnell I believe, just used Vaseline in a mold for relief designs with stencils. I bet you could put some Vaseline in the eye indentations of the mold to fill them prior to pouring resin. Then you wouldn’t have to Dremel away the protrusions of the eyes? Beautiful turtle!!!
Ohhhhhh, he just turned out so cute. The bead in his head looks like he has a mouth. I love the colors. 😍

It’s so cute! And the eye solution is brilliant. I usually just paint the eyes on after the fact, but those pre-made ones are cool.

Turned out really pretty.
For manipulating small pieces, I highly recommend needle nose (pointed) tweezers. I've found they help when I can't see or work around my own fingers to get small pieces in the right place.

Hi Julie , those black browny stones are snowflake obsidian, when they get polished they lose some of their pattern , also resin has become an art form , love your turtle molds😊

You could have put him in your pressure pot for no bubbles, thats how I do mine.

Another gorgeous turtle. So glad it’s not just me with one eyed turtle/fish. Could you plug up the eye before you pour? The drill gave me dentist flashbacks so I’d rather avoid drilling.
The blue irregular shaped stones look like blue apetite. I wear several bracelets of them in round stone bead form for their energy. 💙😊 I LOVE the little turtle! He turned out so adorable & the colors are beautiful! 💙 I also LOVE your nail polish color! What kind is it? 🤔

Beautiful turtle!!! Question, before gluing should the white paper come off? Will the glue only adhere to the paper and not the eye? Maybe you would loose the eye at a later date? Just wondering. Thanks 😊
