Yeah I couldnt agree more, personally I think its ruined it a little bit, its better setup for tourists now and good they look after it, but i can't agree with building concrete plinths and fences around it.
@@scoellphotography think it is done that way deliberately its the National Trust they make every site they have difficult to get images because thats part of their own revenue stream, not that thats the reason they give
Yeah they did that with a load of stock images years ago, claimed copyright on them all, in the end its only the ones taken from their land / viewing platform that are actually not allowed..
Nor did I tbh honest, its a shame as some creative shots and editing could work wonders in images there.. I know heritage england got funny with a lot of people taking pictures there as well a few years back in the commercial world, saying people didn't have a license
Think all security guards do the same Terrorism course where all terrorists do reconnaissance by standing out like a sore thumb ! Nice images though mate.

Never realised how awkward the security was. Not that I was planning on going, I’ve got to say I’m put off! Great pictures though

Haha, yeah nothing says covert more than a tripod and standing in a field talking to yourself for an hour..
