Thanks alot!. My "redmi note 3 pro" came with a bloatware china rom, alot of stuff wouldnt work properly, or at all. The battery indicator always read -2% battery life left, fingerprint scanner (or any password setup) always crashed when launched, but this guide worked flawlessly and the phone is actually working as advertised now. Thanks for the video. I purchased a Chinese version of redmi 3s recently and i wasnt able to flash global rom without unlocking the bootloader. You must be aware that unlocking the bootloader now on xiaomi devices is a long procedure. I couldnt boot to download mode with fastboot commands or with button combinations and usb cable methods. Tip for people who wants to boot to EDL/download mode with new firmwares on xiaomi, they can try command " fastboot oem edl " in fastboot mode and continue flashing respective global rom as explained in your video. Will it result in a bootloop? 2. After installation, should we reboot to bootloader manually or will that automatically happen? 3. Hi Dhananjay I am into a deep deep problem mate, i recently bought a note 3, while checking the device i put in a pattern lock n few days back when i went to use i forgot it , now the service centre charges 450/- for a simple task wanted to know from tech savy people like you if there is any way out, when i try holding the + n power button to go the the option of wipe data/factory setting , it gives a pictoral prompt of a phone with a cable not connected , n if i connect the power cable it shows the cable connected but oesnt let me go to tht mode wherein i can factory reset, lemme tell you my finger print scanner wasnt set even, please tell me a way out

i think its because of driver signature enforcement you need to disable to it what u have seen in video is only applicable if u have turned of secure boot policy from bios of your pc and later u need to disable the driver signature enforcement then update your drivers as per the video it should work now

Hi Sir. I did everything successfully. When it booted into TWRP it was in Chinese Language then anyhow I managed to Change it into English then I click on Reboot from TWRP into System it asked me that it will replace from Mi Recovery to TWRP Recovery I clicked okay and it asked me that it will install SuperSu then I clicked okay it showed installed and automatically reboot started but it been 15mins still My Note 3 is on Mi Logo only. I tried to update my Redmi 3 Pro (Custom ROM 7.3.2.0) to the latest developer fastboot ROM by following the tutorial in this video. I tried a few times without success but everytime I’m pointing „Flash all“ in Miflash I got the report „error loading type libary/DLL (0x80029c4a:wait port ready to use)“. So is there any solution for this error?
I accidently deleted MI account from PC without logging out from device. So followed the MIUI forum moderator process of flashing firmware through EDL mode. I flashed both the latest and lower version of MIUI but after booting it still showing the message of device already associated with MI account. Hence I am not even able to use the device as I cannot bypass the MI account login window. Please help what to do now. Final resort I have left with is to take it to MI exclusive service center. BTW the download mode you have shown with various options dosent come in india qualcomm version I guess.

Tried with Redmi Pro 3 @16/12/2017 still working. If you get "send configure command failed" -> use MiFlash version 2015.10.28.0 If you get "cannot read from port com" -> Just seconds from entering EDL mode hit flash. Also wait for at least 7 minutes after you reboot(after flash successful)

This video saved me to flash the ROM. hi while clicking on Download option in Bootloader the device was restarting and normally booting to OS... what to do...????

i think its because of driver signature enforcement you need to disable to it
what u have seen in video is only applicable if u have turned of secure boot policy from bios of your pc
and later u need to disable the driver signature enforcement then update your drivers as per the video
it should work now
to turn off secure boot boot into bios-->boot-->secure boot-->disable and restart ur pc by saving the changes
