I hope you all like this one as I have wanted to get a 4 into 1 on this bike since day 1! I do plan to make a short version of this video with just sound clips for the masses so I'm aware this one may be lengthy for what is accomplished. As I know many will chime in saying "would be better with stock pipes" just remember that that is simply an opinion. You have them, I have them, everyone has them. That does not mean your opinion is a fact. Just remember this is all fun and we can all enjoy these things in our own way which is what it's all about.
Well said!! That’s the great thing about bikes….and cars…..making them your own! The downside to this build is that it makes me want a CB750 now. And then I’ll want a CBX again when you start working on that!! 😂. I only have a two-car garage man…and it already has two bikes in it!!!!!!
LOVE Honda CB750's, and love the patina you've preserved in this beautiful bike. Great film - terrific storytelling, well edited, well shot. LOVE IT - thanks very much!
My $150.00 72 CB750 came with a very well used Kerker 4into1 exhaust. Did the same thing you did and painted the head pipes black and cleaned up the muffler. Had to replace the end cap. I clicked the like button after only about one minute of watching. You are correct they sound the best with a 4into1 exhaust.
Definitely nothing wrong withe the stock exhaust its all personal preference. Since I fell in love with cb750s in modified form first thats the look burned into my head
@@BrickHouseBuilds That 4 in 1 does indeed sound pretty good. Also: nicely done with getting it to fit. Didn't the CB750 came with a 4-in-4 from factory? Or does my memory fail me here?
The 60's Luanda when the Japanese started to invade the market. The first was the cb 350 soon after the CB 750 four appeared it was total madness the 4 collectors in a short pipe it was chilling I remember well I was a kid I loved hearing the sound. Wonderful time. thanks for bringing those moments back..
I owned a 1973 Honda 350 CL and installed a 2 into 1 Jardine chrome header and muffler. The header/muffler wasn't one piece. I welded the muffler to one of the header pipes. The other header I did not attach because I could removed the header without taking the whole assembly off when I wanted to change the oil. Also, had to make a bracket to attach the muffler to the swinger arm. Also, I went up one size on the main jets. That was it. Ran and sounded fine.
The exhaust sounds absolutely perfect, so I'm doing the same to my '76, also I like that you acknowledge new comments. Great skills and I have learned from these videos, Sensei.
An upgrade that does not detract from the look. In fact, it adds extra 'cool' and of course, a wicked sound. Top workmanship as always. Keep up the great work man!
With that back pipe on it will sound even better I had a C B 750 with a Collins 836 stroker kit and cams Hooker headers and it sounded like an offenhauser Indy engine
Nice, nice! Remember my beautiful but open Kerker on my old CB900F with fondness and a little pain. I had to fabricate an internal baffle with many holes to cut the noise down.
Love watching your progress on this bike, i rode that model around New Zealand back in early 90s for 8 weeks and enjoyed every moment, keep up the great work, you are a genius, love your channel😎👍🏻
I think even your bike would hit the like button if it could. That's a sweet sounding Honda you've got there, such a fabulous machine gracing the roads once more. Great work, thanks for the video.
This CB 750 K is getting cooler every day. It's been my dream since always, too bad that here in Brazil they are rare and too expensive. With 4 x 1 it was a show!!!!
That blue with the stock decals makes it the best looking CB750 out there. I always wanted a Candy Gold k0 or k1 like the one my brother used to take me for rides on when I was 3. I recently bought a '73 in Maxim Brown Metallic and I'm not fond if the colour. I considered painting it Candy Gold, Flake Sunrise Orange or the Candy Red that came later, but this Blue is the one! I plan to just mask out the graphics even though they're not perfect, paint the blue, then clearcoat the whole thing. Cheers!
Because there are no balance tubes you can get the balance with a four in to one. And closing it down will help the bike run cleaner. Great choices. I also like how you play the best notes against the sound wall of the loading dock.
I had a RC engineering 4 into1 header on my Z1 900 Kaw that got me stopped by two different Cops in one hour! I guess i should of installed the baffle! 4 into 1 headers are the best for horsepower & sound.
It could be a seat of the pants placebo effect but I felt every aspect of how the engine runs to be smoother after the exhaust change. Shifting, on/off throttle, power, idle, just everything.
Love that 4-1 sound..back in the day those pipes were the go to performance mod with k&n filters or even the old mesh covered alloy bell mouth carb intakes which usually needed the needle height lifting. The sound with 4-2 is great..but that 4-1 sounds mint. 🇬🇧

Oh yes! The original Mad Max sound is there! I used to drag race my 77 KZ1000 with just the open header. For street I had the MAC muffler the header came with. I always wanted something in between. My turbo bike will have no muffler as it was before but without the crazy bends.
Oh yeah definitely like the after, sound like a modern bike in my opinion. And it sounds like my old cb750f from back in the day, I miss that bike thanks for taking me back in time and ride safe.

So far iv affixed a new subframe but can't afford any argon so still using flux core, what a mess! But I'll go over it at 120amps later lol... Just done the rear tank mount and about to start on the front, using a China cg125 tank so measurements are useless it's all by eye. I watch your tig welding so closely, one day I'll do another bike and will strive to match your quality 👌🏼 Thank you for the vids man. Your absolutely inspiring some of us.
Well thanks so much that means a lot! Glad you are inspired to build skills on the welding side. I was teaching a friend to weld today!
@@BrickHouseBuilds you know you've mastered something when your teaching someone else, and good on ya for paying the skills forward too.

Love the sound of CB750 engine
Nothing like it!
And I wish they still made that bike and that motor
Love the look of the original more. Also won't pass the MOT here in EU with that one. But the nice sound.
Well I have never been interested in the sound or looks of the original pipes so I'm lucky
