If you are very interested in forcing Chuck E. Cheese to keep more and MORE animatronics (as well as reverting Chuck's design back to iconic Avenger), then PLEASE sign this petition! You will help me and everyone who loves animatronics and the old CEC out. By preventing what this company thinks it's trash being thrown away! >:)

I am especially hoping to see the 2 stage return, because it, as a big fan of CEC myself, was my FAVORITE stage and is the one I grew up with! Having Chuck E. in his own area, with the rest of his friends in their own area, plus a TV, lit up sign, etc. was the BEST presentation of any animatronic show in my opinion! This stage was at the Worcester, Massachusetts location (before it got BRUTALLY rebranded to 2.0) and at the Burlington, Massachusetts location (before it closed in summer 2017). Still miss the latter just after a golfing simulator place named X Golf replaced it in recent years! :(

Oh hell yes it was Stinky! Pizza Time Theatre was the beginning of this famed place known as CEC in 1977. But the one from my childhood?! Was Avenger Chuck era! Back in the 2000s, Chuck E. Cheese's was the BEST freaking place where a kid can be a kid! The location I frequented from I think 2003 all the way to 2009 is in Worcester, Massachusetts. It was awesome with excellent quality 2 stage animatronic show, the golden old school tokens (RIP to these), SkyTubes and more! Pizza actually tasted really good, and listening to Chuck's old voice (provided by Duncan Brannan and particularly from the ticket eater after I cashed in my arcade game tickets) has given me the warm fuzzies as a kid. Not to mention? It was a great sponsor for PBS Kids, which made me want to go there so badly.
Birthday parties were VERY popular at CEC during my childhood decade, and the staff ensured that your birthday was gonna be a special one to last a lifetime in memories. Not like now!
It went to shit in 2012 when Avenger Chuck was retired for his newer ugly Rockstar version. They have started to plan on phasing out animatronics, then tokens, then SKYTUBES, over the years!! What could have been next for CEC to remove that would cause bankruptcy in 2020?!

I hate corporate. I was traumatized as a boy when Chuck E. was redesigned. In fact, the reason why I'm quitting working for CEC is because I can't deal with this anymore. Rockstar Chuck, Bella B., the Play Passes replacing tokens and tickets, the stupid dance floor, the bland decorations, KIDZ BOP, everything. I just can't take this anymore. I don't think kids today even like dance floors or KIDZ BOP anyway. I know I didn't as a kid. I haven't heard a single positive comment about these changes. Chuck E. Cheese's modernizing has had a very negative impact on my mental health and on my life as a whole. I probably have PTSD from all this. My mom tried writing to corporate on my behalf and they didn't even read what she wrote. Without the old Chuck E. Cheese, my life is falling apart. And now an executive from the company named Mark Kupferman is going on Reddit and telling lies about how people prefer this new design of theirs. It's absolutely sickening. It's damage control. He's trying to convince people that this is the right thing to do, but imagine Disney changing Mickey Mouse, or Nickelodeon changing SpongeBob. You can't. There's a reason why Mickey Mouse always wears those red, buttoned shorts of his and why SpongeBob works at a fast-food restaurant. I hate Rockstar Chuck most of all. I think he's a disgusting rat. And the fact that they fired Duncan Brannan without telling him is completely immoral. And I hate all the executives of the company. The animosity is justified. They don't care about the fans. They don't care about their legacy either. They claim they do, but the truth is, they don't. They're all white-suprematist, Trump-supporting jerks. They're all a bunch of liars who prioritize money over how people's happiness. They treat CEC like a business and less like a brand and I hate the direction they're going in. When I say CEC is driven by greed, they think they can do it all without the iconic designs of yesteryear and the equally iconic animatronics. No one wanted the dance floor. No one wanted Rockstar Chuck. And yes, CEC is being greedy. They will learn though, trust me, just try to see if anyone is willing to pay an expensive price for games and a stupid trampoline area. You may have a hard time finding a CEC location open by 2027. To change now, what I'm pretty sure is the last leg of their lifespan, based on greed is a sad example of what big business kids marketing really is. And again, why add a Spanish-speaking character to the CEC band? I hate Bella and I have Hispanic friends and coworkers who hate her, too. No one's going to CEC to learn freaking Spanish. It's a dumb idea.
I don't care if CEC is "where a kid can be a kid", it shouldn't be for kids anymore. I hate when companies advertise only to kids. When I was younger there were even teenagers who wanted to hang out there. Now they're narrowing their audience down to 3-7 kids who are too young to understand or care that people's lives are adversely affected by these changes. I'm pretty sure many of these kids have heard of FNAF and would prefer robots over CEC employees attempting to dance in a huge mouse costume.
About a week ago I had to go to the ER for depression treatment. The cause? It's obvious. What CEC is doing now is to blame. The only way out of this torment is if CEC either does something for the fans that brings back the old experience or goes out of business entirely. Most likely the latter. If it happens, and CEC loses everything, I hope they don't come back. I can't go along with this. I know it sounds evil for me wishing this but with all the damage CEC has dealt to me over the past decade, they deserve it. And if CEC does come back from complete closure, I can't handle it if the new owners keep Rockstar Chuck, Bella B., and everything else about the brand now that I hate. I don't mind admitting that I have an unhealthy obsession with Chuck E., but things have spiraled out of control. I would literally give up anything for CEC to go back to how it was before Rockstar Chuck came along, because all this change is ruining my life.

Honestly, I hate corporate too! When Rockstar Chuck first came into existence back in summer 2012, I, as a boy, didn't know what to say! I don't work for CEC (in fact, I'm still unemployed for now), but I'm pretty sure that EVERYONE hates modern Chuck E. Cheese's! In fact, I have recently saw a TV ad for an upcoming summer sale at this place. And all I saw in it was, FAKE HAPPY modern kids playing the games and dancing to the person wearing the new walkaround costume of Chuck E. Cheese on that freaking dumb dance floor. THIS absolutely broke my heart! Why? Because I was a HUGE fan of the animatronics, plus this has already happened in years past simultaneously with the animatronic shows! In a show called Chuck E. Live! In which to earn free tickets, you had to copy Chuck's dance.
But it wasn't just the live show, plus the legendary animatronic show that made your local Chuck E. Cheese's awesome back in the 2000s! There were also the tokens, SkyTubes, rides and decent buffet style food. Now all this is gone, in the well hated 2.0 remodel! Phases III and IV were the best in my opinion. I too can't take this anymore, as someone who stopped going to CEC well into my teen years! Almost NOBODY is actually praising these changes, and I'm so furious that the Worcester, Massachusetts store (which is from my childhood) got remodeled to 2.0 like a couple years back! This means, no more 2 stage (in excellent condition, BTW) and all the old school 00s stuff I grew up with! >:(
This has truly damaged my mental health, as someone obsessed with the old CEC! Also, remember back when they sponsored PBS Kids (an iconic U.S. children's TV block that has now went down the drain)?! Ah yes, those were the days. Too bad that CEC did not listen to your Mom's request to make you feel better! Now try making KFC bring back the potato wedges, and I bet that they won't listen to your request too! Since I absolutely miss those tater sucks, dipped in ketchup before consumption. As NOTHING ELSE! Satisfied me as a picky eater at KFC. Tell Mark (if you can) that he is making a big mistake in rebranding this iconic children's company! Famous cartoon characters must stick to what they're good at so that fans can actually relate to them! Why not Chuck?! Avenger was his most iconic form, and just like you, I hate Rockstar. He disgusting MOUSE! Duncan Brannan should not have been fired, because his Chuck E. voice was the best and he made me so happy! Fortunately, the animatronics will be saved at up to 5 locations so far due to backlash from fans (including myself). But getting rid of them at all other locations?! No, just no. As a proud New Englander, we're losing animatronics everywhere! The animatronics at Monster Mini Golf in Seekonk, Massachusetts don't all work, and Santa's Village NH has DESTROYED the Jinglebell Jamboree back in 2017 for a forgettable live show called Tinker's Tune Up. THIS, sir, was a not so iconic but interesting holiday themed animatronic show actually made by the same guy behind the then future animatronic band at Showbiz, named Aaron Fechter! The show (in 3 stage form) was AWESOME, with toe tapping catchy Christmas tunes, flashy lights and impressive animatronics like those of Santa and Elfis, a knockoff elf version of the one and only Elvis Presley! Show was originally made by Creative Engineering (and ran from 1978-2006), and was later remade by Advanced Animations (and running from 2010-2016). Now I believe that the theater is abandoned, and meanwhile a new coaster is replacing the iconic Rudy's Rapid Transit! :(
It's for sure that Chuck E. Cheese's is no longer the place where a kid can be a kid! That slogan is not even sung on TV anymore, which is just SO sad. Also, why aren't childless adults allowed in CEC? Let alone TEENS?! This place shouldn't just be for kids. I miss CEC so much, and wish to capture decent footage of the animatronics to share with family, friends or the whole world through TH-cam! As an adult. Many kids these days don't actually care that the older folks (like Generation Z and before) are CRYING over their precious animatronics and other old stuff being gone forever! I'm most likely still crying over this, along with all the Spot books released AFTER Eric Hill's death! That's very disrespectful to the creator (as his name is credited on each book's cover), but today's kids are braindead over who wrote the books!!
Sorry that you had to go to the ER. Do you want me to help you? Bring back the old CEC?! Then...
If you wish to sign that change.org petition to bring back Avenger Chuck and the animatronics in the description of this video, then please do so! This will probably make them turn things around.

@@TMJRedux1999 On May 3rd 2012, 2 weeks before the company's 35th anniversary, they announced that they were gonna give chuck e a makeover for a july 2012 (because of a decline in sales in 2011) in collab with the richards group and reel fx. (though concept art for rockstar chuck was made on april 29th , 2012) In June of 2012, a silhouette of the redesigned character appeared on the official Chuck E. Cheese Facebook page and was officially unveiled also in June of 2012. Chuck E. Cheese had an immediate switch of hand drawn animation to cgi animation with a new ad campaign , “Say Cheese, It's Funner!”. also known as chuck e's new hit single. This was the first time the character was presented in CGI in the promotional material, replacing the hand-drawn Avenger chuck e cheese ads. This redesign has been met with backlash fans and regular customers of Chuck E. Cheese for being drastically different than prior incarnations and is often attributed to the company's financial troubles that followed.
For the new advertising campaign, a new voice actor was utilized which led to some unexpected controversy that spilled into the media. Jaret Reddick, best known as the lead singer for the band, Bowling for Soup, was hired for the singing and speaking voice of Chuck E. Cheese in the campaign. In the days leading up to the campaign launch, Chuck E. Cheese released a preview of "Chuck's Hot New Single" via e-mail to those who signed up for their e-mail club. After receiving the e-mail containing the MP3, a group of fans contacted Duncan Brannan to get additional information. After hearing the song himself and contacting a source at CEC's corporate offices, Duncan Brannan was informed that he had been replaced. Then, he issued a press release to the fans. ShowBizPizza.com collected and archived this farewell press release with the intention of referencing it at a later date. Within a few days, local news outlets in the Dallas area picked up on the story, and before long it had spread across the internet to various national news outlets and blogs such as Gawker, Perez Hilton, and the Huffington Post. On July 3rd, the AP released their article which was then sent to dozens of media outlets. CEC Entertainment, Inc. has since denied that Duncan Brannan was quote on quote, "fired", and stated that although freelance, he is still in contract with the company to provide entertainment in its restaurants. That's the start of the rockstar era bascially. but, honestly. i wish the avenger era never ended and that curtains still worked at all locations, locations still had showroom walls, locations still had dim lighting, locations had tuxedo outfits on their animatronic, i wish that they never got rid of studio c programming, i wish that duncan was still the voice. r.i.p avenger chuck 1997 - 2012.

Yeah, agreed! From like 2004-2009 to be exact, thanks to Avenger Chuck! The only problem with this era that I have (as a huge fan of animatronics) was changing up the Chuck E. Cheese's showroom in Phase IV. By removing the showroom walls, disabling the curtains and leaving the lights on.
2005 was actually its EARLIEST year of decline (to me), but this only applies to the showroom. Avenger Chuck DID improve the place for like 7 years, until he FINALLY LEFT in 2012! From that year forward, CEC is just a shell of its former self and now the animatronics are going to disappear at almost all locations! I've linked you a petition to sign so that you can help me save those iconic shows. AND get CEC to fix them! By maintaining the broken animatronics, and creating a modern AWESOME showroom with new soundproof separator walls, fast moving curtains (either side to side or up and down), loud drumroll cue for each show opening and updated decorations to create a wonderful ambient atmosphere! Oh, and don't forget to dim the lights. Doing all this will draw modern kids' attention, since they are no longer watching the animatronic shows! Poor CEC is losing money. I still think that CEC was good like 20-25 years ago! Going back to like the late 90s with Cool Chuck.

Rockstar Chuck ruined CEC by changing a bunch of things for the worse! Tokens are replaced with game cards and the famous animatronic show got replaced by a dance floor! The SkyTubes are gone, and I could go on.

Yes, that's true LM! The 2000s were CEC's BEST decade (and I don't care what anyone says). Having a walkaround costume of Avenger Chuck (who used to actually creep me out as a kid when he peeked over me playing a driving game years ago), tokens, SkyTubes, decent quality food, rides, the live show with Chuck E. giving you FREE TICKETS just by copying his dance, posters AND the animatronic show made Chuck E. Cheese's look just like Disney World (but mini sized) to many kids. Sales for Chuck E. Cheese's in the 00s SKYROCKETED thanks to their previous iconic design of Chuck E. and their old wacky but cool television commercials (that I bet you saw on a channel like Nickelodeon all the time back in 2008, and you begged your parents to take you). It was also previously a sponsor of the well known children's block (and formerly channel as well) called PBS Kids! You saw CEC in the funding credits of your favorite show, don't you lie! >:)
I just can't believe that the Worcester, Massachusetts store (which was my childhood) GUTTED their 2 stage in the abysmal 2.0 remodel in recent years. As it was one of the only stages (at the time) to have Jasper's BANJO instead of guitar (alongside the Burlington, Massachusetts store which has been closed since 2017). And this cowpoke dog really needed country instrument!

      @TMJRedux1999  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

That's right LM! Kids today grow up way too fast, and we CAN'T let this happen! The sad thing is, kids only get ONE shot to be kids. As once they turn 13 years old, their childhood is gone for good! Seeing the modern dance floor in the 2.0 remodel is the WORST PART of modern Chuck E. Cheese! Because back then, the main attraction was ANIMATRONIC SHOW. It has been this ever since 1977, the year CEC was founded. Throwing them away in the trash can is not alright, especially for the parents of today's little ones (who may be feeling NOSTALGIC for Chuck E. Cheese's in their childhood days). Chuck E. Live show already happens at random spots inside the store on the hour (I think)! It was nice to see that AND the animatronics in the same place! That's one thing I remember from the Burlington, Massachusetts store (which I can't BELIEVE is now closed).
I (as a 00s kid) can STILL hear a song that was sung by a group of REAL children (and some adults too?) which goes "I know a place where a kid can be a kid! Chuck E. Cheese's! Where a kid can be a kid!" playing from one of the old Avenger era TV commercials in my mind. This was what made me beg my parents to take me to Chuck E. Cheese's! And back in majority of the 2000s, my local CEC is in Worcester, Massachusetts. Which first opened in August 1992 and originally had a 2 stage! Childhood right there.
