An experience of a lifetime that I am certain both Kyle and Richard will cherish for the rest of their days. It was also great to see the legend Jackie Stewart. Thanks so much to the Petty Family Racing channel for bringing this event to the Petty fanbase.

Born in Daytona Beach Florida. My dad took me to my first Stock Car race in 1963. It was Daytona and those were Stock Cars. Big engines, modified brakes, no interior and a roll bar. Richard Petty was and is my favorite driver of any racing venue. The King!
THIS is the magic of Goodwood that cannot be overstated enough. This special place and special attitude that happens there allows these majestic and unforgettable moments to take place. Amazing
One thing I love about the Beast of Turin is that it had not only had it originally been run on the roads if it’s day, but Duncan Pittaway, it’s current owner/restorer/caretaker still takes it on the road too, there’s even video of him driving it in traffic on one of the big motorways to get to Goodwood! One thing I do like to say about this car is just imagine seeing this on the roads, now or when it was first built and what kind of experience that would have been. Think about being in a little European village and not really even knowing what a car is and seeing some madman tearing down the dirt road through your village in a literal fire breathing monster that may have sounded like the world was about to end at over 100mph. Now put it in modern times, where that same fire breathing monster passes a non enthusiast driver while they’re running what ever the posted limit is on the motorway running 100 while shooting flames out it’s side and still sounding like the world may be coming to an end.
My grandfather worked for Wix back in the day and the Pettys would always have a show car at the company's family picnics. Was always a thrill to see them up close.

Thanks! I have been a fan of the Petty's sense 1969. Got to meet Richard at a LPGA tourniment in Toledo Oh a few years ago just after Linda passed. He was so sincere just as I knew he was or is.
As long as the king was driving the Chrysler products, I was at the TV watching every Sunday God bless you and your family. I didn't watch so much after Chrysler pulled out a race link for dodging Chrysler pulled out a racing for a while but he'll always be the king to me.
I watched Richard drive that Bird straight through the esses instead of turning at Riverside International and the Motor Trend 500 in ''73 or '74 - first time he ever ran a road course. It was quite hysterical seeing him going through the sand here and there!

This is so cool so much history. To see Richard and Kyle in action in a different racing environment is exciting to see. That Superbird sounds so mean it commands attention. At 4:31 looks like Mario Andretti's Lotus 79 JPS.
The smile on Richard's face was completely priceless as he's riding around in that cool old car. Seeing him meet Jackie Stewart is definitely a bucket list item. I'd love to meet him one day. You definitely can't get the true essence of Goodwood through the videos, but they're awesome memories and we appreciate you guys sharing with us.
Great moments for Petty Racing Fans also. We've enjoyed going to the museum in Randleman, and to Victory Junction. I'm a dyed in the wool Ford fan, but I appreciate everything the Petty family has done for racing over the years, and have great respect. Thanks for the memories and God Bless!

I really enjoy watching the videos of the Petty's. Met Richard and Kyle quite a few times. Been the racetrack, Petty museum, and Kyle Petty charity ride seen in Bristol in 2024.

I saw one on the streets here in Iowa this summer, complete with all the decals for our Annual Car Show. My Mom had a 1970 Plymouth Barracuda Convertible and I had the 1970 Plymouth Duster. Had to sell it in 1972 when I went off to Marine Corps Bootcamp and I recently saw one up for auction, but, alas, no money to purchase it. Got out of the Marines in 1975 and could only afford a 1970 Gremlin with a 3 on the tree...complete junk...lol. King Richard is the best in my book!

I saw the Superbird at the Ontario Motor Speedway with my dad when I was fourteen years old. I'm sixty eight years old now.
