I am 56 years old, I am a war veteran from the war in Croatia in 1991-1995 and I have to say that this band gave me strength every time I was weak. PTSD is a fucking thing, and this group - they were my medicine with my wife. The first time we met, my wife came to the railway station by train from Split to my town, which was 650 km away...as soon as she arrived at the station, she received from me (a slug of snails - a kiss;). We got into my car and before we went to my apartment, I asked her: "Will loud music bother you?" Then I turned the power of the amplifier to 100 and the windows were shaking in the car!

Why's there so much debate on what punk is and isn't? At the end of the day there are lots of subgenres of punk (crust, hardcore etc.) and we should just all be thankful that we are not listening to the mass produced crap in the charts nowadays, so it doesn't matter which punk bands you like. Everyone just unite; we're all punks together.

Listening to this brings back the old days! Chillin at the skatepark with a cd player and some battery powered speakers blasting Casualties and freaking out old people.

Like sniffing glue, drinking beer..n etc...etc....like it's in the punk bible to been preached those things which fo sho, they never experimented b4. Just helped em to jump on the punx-vagon. went to a casualties concert yesterday. it was one of the best concerts i've ever been too! they're awesome guys, we went up stage moshed with them and in the end they made time for us to talk a bit!
I was a big fan in high school and had a few intersections similar to you meeting them briefly ! Saw them in Atlanta mostly it also with anti flag in Philly. My step mom bought me a 40 bc all the other punker kids were drinking on the street. It was woodchuck cider 🤮. Hot august night I def puked. Partied w some locals … That’s rad they’re still playing and rocking!

well, you can say all you want, but The Casualties are NOT sellout. they still stay true to their punk roots. if you can't hear that this actually is a punk song, then you can't call yourself a punk fan. they still make albums, they still have the same attitude as in the beginning, they never became sellouts, they play big shows, that doesn't mean that they are ''sell outs''

Apparently Jorge has a bad reputation and many people have a problem with him.
@Gold Saint Virgo Allegedly he got a little too handsy and creepy with the girls. Protestors were able to call all the venues and cancel their entire tour due to the allegations. I don't personally know the guy, and nobody actually pressed criminal charges, so I really don't know if any of it is true. I don't condone creepy behavior, but I believe everyone's innocent until proven guilty and that it's way too easy to mess with a person's livelihood by accusation alone.
@@swampdonkey4919 It's incredibly easy for someone to be accused of harassment if they're a guy, to me Jorge doesn't really seem to give of that sort of vibe and if there's no proof then i can't fully believe the stuff he was accused of. I hope the accusations aren't true.
