Dhruv jurel is a technically more sound batsman than sarfraz, sarfraz is a good batsman on flat decks, but Jurel has played innings on tougher conditions and has performed well, he should be in playing 11 and more chances should be given to him.

When I first watched Jurel against England, the one thing that stood out - he had this sense of composure, something similar to what Dhoni or Jadeja would have when finishing a game for us - that one thing stood over and not so much classy wristy batting or an awesome technique and going by our batting standards right now, Jurel looks like a more calculated, sensible, and trusted middle order batting option. He could play as the WK and Pant as a full-time batsman...not impossible. Jurel is good enough to play beyond the likes of Shreyas or Sarfaraz.
Sudharsan and Padikkal did well in the last test. Both the lefties along with Jurel should be in the 15-man squad. In the form that Rohit and Virat are in (and considering their age and consequent potential reduction in hand-eye co-ordination) it is better to pack with extra well performing batters. Boland reminds me a lot of Peter Siddle. He will be successful in the coming series, unless of course some unconventional methods are used. I don't know what Siraj contributed to the team in the last two series. I agree he did during the England series. Now, his form is a big concern. During BGT, Jurel should be included in the main 11. @@Sanjay_1977 Sudarshan has played excellently but he is a bit young. Padikkal is more experienced and Jurel has already debuted and played a couple of good knocks under pressure.

Sarfaraz played just 6atches includes 3 half centuries and one 150....he was the only one who scored century in Newzland series. Even all the contribution some PR people showjng him all blame for loss. Now he didnt played any match outside India thy want him drop...wow. The problem of Sarfaraz is in the Name if he would be Santhosh or Shastri how would b given alot of chances even scoring nothing and would be given proper batting position than sending aftrr bowlers in 8th position.

I felt very bad for ignoring Jurel during last two series at home. India wasted the potential player by warming on the bench. If Jurel and Axar played the result, would have been different. Jurel utilized all his opportunities effectively. Indian management already wasted talented players like Mayank Agarwal, Karun Nair, and Hanuma Vihari. I don't know what Siraj contributed to the team in the last two series. I agree he did during the England series. Now, his form is a big concern. During BGT, Jurel should be included in the main 11. He and Pant are key players for India. Notable players during BGT is Bumrah, Pant and Jurel. Results favor of Australia. I don't get surprised if Australia win 5-0. Best of luck,
