To think that thiis Haydn work was only rediscovered in 1961! It's a a treasure for all cellists and classical music afficiandos, in general. I've watched and listened to this video many times. I love the ensemble and this cellist's superb interpretation. Beautiful tone!
Today I listen for first time this interpretation and I feel very equilibrated between moviments and the soloist feel every melody. Congratulations for all.
That is most likely a problem of streaming. It happens to me once in a while if the connection is slow on either side, if my machine is doing demanding background tasks amongh other things or other technical reasons. It has nothing to do with the video itself. Let me know if you continue having problems.
Yes, of all the cello recordings this has the most beautiful tone. I would like to go to a Concilium Musicum de Paris concert. Where/when does it perform? I cannot find anything about it.
