I was trying to see in the entranceway if there was a closet. I would have liked either a place to sit to remove boots etc from being out in the snow or a mud room. But it was hard to tell as we were more focused on the stuffed dead carcasses on the walls. ugh. Love the tours though and when we are ready to build this is the company that we will use I think. I would also like to shatterproof glass on the front windows as lake front homes tend to deal with hail etc and some pretty good storms. I am sure this company could accommodate that!

Wow this is my kind of place. Love it. Id rather the animals outside but to each their own. Beautiful. I love the garage set up for the sleds and all the gear. So many neat details, the lighting, fans are a neat touch. Id have a hard time leaving that couch in front of that huge fireplace. And the stone oven vent is one of a kind but like how it goes with the stone on the island. Beautiful home.

Nice place did anyone else notice the big puddle of water in the floor by the door going outside the kitchen. (Edit: my bad it’s a moose lol) Anyway if i come into money one day I’ll have one of these log homes from Golden Eagle but ofcourse I’d want to design my own with them. Out of all the log home companies I’ve checked out Golden Eagle has the top spot.
A lot of good design ideas here and I love these timber frames you build. However, I was surprised to see so many gaps on the tongue and groove. I’m not sure if this was intentional as I thought you all kiln dry everything. Regardless, that would mess with my OCD, along with all those white receptacles in that dark kitchen island/backsplash. But nice home, nonetheless. ✌️

I love all the tours of the homes, but most have basement areas for entertainment and guest bedrooms. Very few houses in Texas have basements because of the soil. I'd love to see more 2 story homes with no basements.
