Do deer stay away from Wavy Leaf Ligustrums, Gardenias or Wax Myrtles? I’m thinking I might need to do Laurels for hedges but I would like a beautiful flowering option!
Yeah deer eat pretty much everything if they are hungry enough! These ones are a bit more resistant than others in my climate. My tulip spray works like a charm! They hate it! I’m gonna pretty much protect most of my evergreens this year besides the boxwood…they never touch those. Therefore I’m planning on planting more of them. Perfect for winter interest and deer resistance. Deer can be so frustrating!
Be great if you summarized at the end with the names of the plants or use the name of the plant more often-I had to go back and start the video a couple of times to get the name
Love the stream on your property...very calming
Thanks! I’m so spoiled
Hi there we live in Weber County and have a lot of deer in our neighborhood your video is amazing
Thanks for watching!
My mom has had great success with white pines growing quickly. They grow about a foot per year for her
Thanks for the info. I hate how slow some evergreens grow so a foot a year is a ton.

How has your blue point juniper been? Have the deer picked at it at all?
The deer haven’t touched it yet. Choosing my fingers. I’ll protect it in winter though
Crossing not choosing haha
Deers eat hydrangeas and yews here in Atlantic Canada. Deers eat tulips too.
