Omg that was fun seeing those goofy patterns. I really want to make some sleeves, probably never wear them but so much fun to make all kinds of styles!
Right? It’s so hard to believe these are from the 2000s and not from much longer ago - I thought we weren’t so goofy by the 2000s but we most definitely were!
Okay, that was so much fun to watch- especially the bonus ending! I had a cardmaking blog way back (also collected scrapbooking supplies-that have never been used), even became a certified Copic colorist/instructor, before knitting, and knitting turned into my therapy/obsession after a really difficult time, too. Amazingly I don’t have Stitch ‘n Bitch, but I do have the sock book (and still have some Lorna’s Laces). 😆
I think I have one skein of Lorna’s Laces and I think it’s called something like Zombie BBQ - I need to knit that up! I have a smedium collection of Copics and was especially into Lawn Fawn and Paper Smooches stamps.
All of my stamping supplies and markers and any craft that’s not knitting is boxed up in storage. Our apartment is way way too small- I’m looking forward to the day when we have more space and I can have access to all of my supplies again!
I made the cell phone cover for my Nokia cell phone-the one with the antenna (remember those?), and I made the devil's hat. I made the tank top from the sequel, and tried the basketweave scarf out of it. I made the purse many times from the Happy Hooker, and I still have it. I also crocheted a washcloth that I still use to this day for when I'm cleaning my bathroom. I also made the skull sweater from the first Stitch n' Bitch. I threw it away. I also crocheted two hats that used beginner basics from a pattern that I got on the Internet, and from another crochet book. I made crocheted fingerless gloves, and I couldn't wear them.
I don’t seem to have Stitch ‘’n Bitch Nation but I have one called Superstar Knitting published in 2010. That original book though is the best how to knitting book.

Amazing! Isn’t it so much fun looking back on all those really “cool” projects now that they’ve become so dated?
@@StopDropandKnitPodcast It is.
I also started knitting 20 years ago. I played the flute in middle school but am no expert.
We have so much in common ❤️
@@StopDropandKnitPodcast and we both love to natural dye 😁

I’ve never heard of Superstar Knitting- would love to have a look inside!
