So the smaller inseam on CUTS is 32 ? I wish they will make smaller inseam like 26 or 27 if i spend over 100$ on pants i don't what to spend another 30 $ tailoring them
too expensive for me T_T
Although not everyone can invest the time, I routinely browse & shop Goodwill, Plato's Closet, and thrift stores. I average spending only 10% of retail costs. And I'm learning a lot about quality. Good vid. Thanks.
Ford Plato’s closet have men’s clothes??
@@chrisblanc663 Plato's Closet is a higher-end used clothing store in the midwest states: Indiana, Illinois, and maybe a few other states.
Layering is important but I won't be layering in 110-115 degree summers lol
I hear that. I live in Las Vegas. Summer afternoons average around 100 degrees.
A ribbed tank top & a linen shirt is still laying
Is that felt?
It is now!
Thank You for the Video 😀
Excellent video, a concise, no-nonsense exploration of all the fundamental guidelines to looking good. 👍
I simply love your content, and respect your take on fashion, getting to know and own your personal style.
❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you very much for emparting the knowledge that you have gained.
As a young professional, who considers myself stylish, and other people also...very glad about that.
I also like the fact the way you create versatility and options when it comes to dressing the part.
Thank you very much for what your doing, and please keep on doing it.
Always a fan.🎉🎉🎉
if i added another layer i would be a sweaty mess here in australia. I love having extra layers on but yeah pretty much impossible unless its the middle of winter
Glad you see you talking about Cuts for a change instead of Collars and Co. I prefer Cuts polos over any others out there.
Can you please do video on men's fashion on Tokyo, Japan ??? I have been to Tokyo numerous times and almost every there dresses up nice regardless of age, gender, and fashion style.
Always great content
Great video. I like to keep tabs on what is stylish, though I also like to go my own way and set trends.
Best advice to get started. He mentioned half way in to go into the expensive stores and learn the feel. First time I did this I couldn't believe how silky smooth cotton could get, the difference between cheap linen and amazing linen. Also look at the stitching while your in there. Its a whole new world of fabric and it will help you out the most to find those amazing quality clothing.
Can you say more about linen? I think I've only had cheap linen (which I only wear in the short northern European summer), but loads of very nice cottons (sea island, etc.).
@@krausewitz6786 a little late but better than never. So you probably have more experience with fabric than I do, haven't foudn sea island anywhere here in town. With that linen comes in one form linen what you are looking for is for it to be breathable and non see thru, put it on your skin if you blow on it you should feel it on your skin but not see your skin. Best place I found around here has been Tommy Bahams, great shirts and pants, also the stitching is strong and wont tear even under my load Im build like a dwarf and it handles my squats.
@@Titotito-py6mr Ah, ok. Yes, linen must be breathable....otherwise, what's the point!?
We don't have Tommy Bahamas here in the UK, but thanks for the tip, and for getting back to me!
Our Guy: wins at the game F#$%, Marry, Kill. Provides fodder for a good video. 👍

Rules start at 1:12
Been dressing this way for years and didn’t realise. Just second nature for me since a teen.
Great tips. Thanks
If you want to look extremely fashionable while also being casual, I recommend Moccasins Canada. All handmade in Quebec from natural materials. I wear the Eugene Cloutier Elk & Moose Hide shoes around the house, & I love them.
Antonio, this and your previous video on the “sandwich method” are excellent tips on casual style.
Glad you like them! Thanks George
I love the value formula
Hey Antonio I love the over coat portrait in the background it really caught my eye. Can I ask you where I can find a similar one?
Great video.
The rizzler strikes again
To add to the proportions part I think it’s very important. It’s proportion your shoes with your pants if that makes sense.!
"wear a second layer"... Man, it's 95° outside already in FL. I don't wanna wear another layer.
Wife beater layered with a linen shirt? I’m from a tropical area too so I get you haha
Your just not willing to do what it takes to be “rizz”
I’m ok with that.
😂😂
Thanks mate I’m early 30s I needed this
EPISODE IDEA --- HOW MANY SHIRT BUTTONS TO UNBUTTON FOR DRESS SHIRTS WITH SUITS, CASUAL POLOS, LINEN CAMP SHIRTS, 2 OR 3 BUTTON T-SHIRTS, CONSIDERATIONS OF JEWELRY WITH UNBUTTONED SHIRTS, ETC.? I often pause and ponder this question before going out (when not wearing a tie, of course). It would be interesting to hear your thoughts in a thorough exploration of the subject.
Jeans white T shirt… Classic Americana. We get it done.
Doesn't hold up over too many decades.
Hello, I am new to learning style rules for men. I have subscribed to and seen most of your videos and they are excellent. I have one question for you. In some videos you advise visiting the “best menswear store in your area and touch nice fabrics.” How do I find out which store is the best?
Gentleman's Gazette has an entire video series based purely on fabrics, as well as a video or two on how to spot a high quality pieces of clothing.
Thats how I learned as well as this channel, and of course experience. No brand in particular every company has their ups and downs in quality.
Don't know rizz, don't speak Millinial or Zednacular or whatever the other Gens speak....but that guy has it right and so does Antonio. Dress for success is = dress for attention. It doesn't have to cost a lot but it should stand out without being overpowering. Tailoring, fit, materials, accessories and a coherent look that is well thought out is where it's at. Trends come and go, classic lasts pretty much forever. Invest the time gents. Another great vid from Antonio with well researched and solid advice.
Thanks for putting out this video. I often struggle with my casual style. I’m in my mid 50s and want to dress age appropriately but still be stylish. I work from home so I don’t have an office to go to and I’m not required to share my camera during meetings. So, most days it’s jeans and a t-shirt. My other problem is my belly. I struggled with eating for a long time and have gotten myself well past the 300lb range. At 6 feet tall most of that is in my belly. I’ve since lost 30 lbs and am trending to lose more (still hovering around the 300 mark though). I’ve found it difficult to shop, especially in stores because most stuff there doesn’t fit me. 3x is too big everywhere but my belly, 2x is too small in the belly but fits everywhere else. I look in the big and tall section of places for 2xb (at least in shirts) but it seems a lot of places are out of stock on those so i end up going with a 3x a lot of times. i don't think it's worth it to have t-shirts tailored. so i end up looking like a schlub most of the time. i love the items your sponsor carries but nothing there will fit me. i was wondering if you have any videos for people like me, that may have suggestions on style for the big bellies?
I have the same problem as you and the answer is just suck it up and go to the tailor or learn to do the alterations yourself. I have to get multiple things done nearly to every shirt, jacket, pants, and shorts I own in order for them to fit the way I want. Sometimes these add up to more than $50 each piece of clothing. I just factor in the estimates of what i will need done into the total price and decide if it's still worth it. For me, at least, it feels less bad to do it on a nicer piece of new clothing than something old or cheap. Do some research on local reviews and call to check prices.
@@verloreneTX thanks. That’s helpful insight.
Step one is lose the weight. If you can get under 200 lbs that'd be great.
Then, I dunno....I'm nearly 40 and I don't expect to change my fashion sense until I become VERY old (retired). A shirt (I think Americans tend to call them 'dress shirts'), Chelsea boots or loafers (depending on season), nice jeans/chinos/moleskin.....all pretty simple and durable.
It depends of the culture of your country for example here in Puerto Rico, Humidity is very high!! And people wears sneakers no matter what age. I'm in my 40s were sneakers always I have 2 pairs nice leather shoes but is for special occasions only!! And clothes very comfortable denim jeans and Polo or T shirts.
I never expected Rizz in his vocabulary lol
Extremely idiotic slang crap not even a word in my vocabulary
He has to sell so he has to know the hip new lingo. Why is this a country where you can market a word? What is a word of the year? Words do not compete for attention.😂
RMRS hoodie example at 10:47 is priceless. 😂
I have been looking for quality seersucker for the longest! There is a lot of crap. I was even trying to find a quality pattern to sew my own! I would buy a quality seersucker short too. What makes a high-quality seersucker suit coat?
Sticking out her gyat for the rizzlerrrr
Saludos desde Cuba 🇨🇺
Aprecio mucho sus consejos para cada ocasión.
Whst i love with leather boots or dress shoes they look best with proper mirror shine. Especially dress shoes with tailored suits..
How do I layer correctly if I even sweat like a waterfall just wearing a Tee and shorts?
I could use a linen shirt over the Tee ... which would be dripping wet after an hour of sitting in the sun
So when it’s 95° out at 8 AM in the morning in the southern US, you want people to wear a lightweight jacket? 🤔
He has RIZZ, so do what he says.
I’m entering my 30’s in a month so this came at a great time
I don't watch this to learn. Clothing is my hobby so it's just entertaining :-) Superb video though! You're always entertaining to watch.
Thank you!
There's nothing "revolutionary" about 52% polyester pants. They look (and probably feel) like cheap garbage.
I’ve been working as chauffeur for family pass 12 years
I find occasionally way I dress sometimes men at gas station think Rolls I drive my boss & family in is mine as I dress as if I owned it
Always 3 piece suit with mirror shined shoes
I can never get tired of that intro music
I'm 3 and a half years from 30..
Figured I'll watch to know for the future 😅
Don't button the top button of a Henley or shirt unless it's a button up Oxford or something
Bro... I use every style rule/advice you even mention for men over 50, eventhough im 23 ;p
For instance, I wonder where a pair of boots with a pair of joggers, or I wouldn’t wear a big, bulky shoe with a tailored, slim ankle fitted pants
Icon Pants are 200$, Good pair of Denim jeans like 30-40 bucks.
Cuts is way to expensive for alot of people. Bro usually always recommends clothes that are way to expensive.
Less ofc i'm missing the videos with cheaper options, no way in hell am i paying 470$ for that buckingham bomber, that's ridiculous.
Hey, hey… You mentioned, “those in their 30s, 40s, and even 50s.” What about those of us in our 60s? Please don’t discriminate 😊
Please check out some other videos on my channel that are geared towards older men! Thank you.
By sixty you should already know
@@user-ql6qg7bh3p it was a joke
@@lifesbeautiful3024People have their guards up these days…
It has to do with the fact that almost anything and everything could start an argument.
@@lifesbeautiful3024are you actually 60?
So no one thinks I am over 22, the only reason teenagers think I am over 18 is I have an Ironing board in the background when I was on live stream.. I really was shocked, I made a big deal about it because just the Ironing board? Jeez man, so when I dress my age (33 in May) I look like I am dressing older and so I get a mix of (I don't mind but not for me) homosexuals and drunk young girls who approach me (also the Mac Miller thing is kinda irritating)
I wear nice clothes, I have Harrison Tweed Pants I match with a New Era Harrison Tweed Hat of the same cutting, I dress my age, but since I do not look my age, it makes people be irritating, especially in Scotland when the style for your teens is Sweatpants and hoody of the same color.
I was going to buy a pair of pants from the sponsor to help out, but unfortunately I'm a shorter guy and the shortest length they seem to have is 32. Maybe next time
Im with you buddy
No problem though. You can fold the cuff inward twice or 3 times (depending on need) along the in seam if you don't have immediate access to a tailor. The day I learned this trick, my outlook on fashion changed forever. You're welcome.🤝🤝
@@obinna202 This works on many pants as long as its not too much . I have the structure of a dwarf at 29 length and end up having to get things tailored. I try to avoid it tough. good advice.
I am a long guy, but was afraid of getting one, so it would be hanging out the leg…
@Titotito-py6mr thank you and at 29 length you're not a dwarf bro. That's actually the average.
35°c on a summer's day in Queensland, Australia, and you're not layering, let alone wearing long pants.
Now i have to find a jacket
Adding a 3rd piece in miami is a death sentence 9 months of the year
I found it very strange while watching a show, as I realized that I was wearing a Cuts t-shirt and joggers.
You're kidding, "rizz" is a word!? Goood dammit I've gotten old
I just wanna know how much it would cost to have you look at my closet and help me put outfits together. Please send help. 😅
Is it okay if im binge watching this channel beside being a female?
Nope, not in Florida to damn hot 🥵. Even with the light jacket you look crazy. This doesn’t apply in the sunshine state.
You can still layer with shirt and under shirt
Rule #1 have money. Is all I got from this.
I have worn and been committed to Henley since high school (1982), but there is a lot of crap out there. Is Cuts, the sponsor, quality, or just your sponsor?
Got Rizz bro on God no cap
Please.
Weird freaking question to bring up with ones teenage daughters 🤨
But we have to live in this society I guess 🤷♂️
I almost spontaneously combust with just a shirt and pants, so layering is tough. They use the area around where I live to test solar probes because it's so close to the same temperature of the sun.
One word. Linen. It's made from flaxseed instead of cotton. It breathes, shades you from the sun, and doesn't get soaked in sweat. The biblical fabric of kings, high priests, and angels.
I'll start wearing pants.👍
I turn thirty in two days, better check this out
Happy Birthday!
Warm weather 60F to 70F. Anything hotter than that, not worth layering.
I liked the channel. It’s become a platform for commercials. Too much selling!
It pays the bills :)
@@RealMenRealStyle I get that, but I watch the Channel to hear your opinion on style and dressing. It’s less valuable to me when it’s a paid ad and my time is my most valuable and scarce commodity. I value your opinions, and your style.
Guys don’t buy Henley, it looks like a pyjamas!
Couldn't agree more about short sleeve Henleys! Think it also has to do with the fit.
For my build, I get lots of compliments on my slim fit, long sleeve Henley.
I get lots of compliments on my henleys. Women love the way it shows off the chest and arms
I'm not trying to be harsh or judgemental, but last time I checked on your videos was around 2 years ago. You changed quite a bit, take attention to skin care.
Cuts has only 2 inseam sizes. That’s pretty ridiculous.
My teenage daughter just taught me about RIZZ. Sometimes when she sees me dressed for the office, gym, or night out she'll ask me if I'm going to the RIZZ party? It's some social media thing apparently lol.
I live in Africa. Suppose i cab be stylish and die a horrible death, or just dress as minimal as possible.
Antonio I love you
💚💚💚💗💚
Antonio defining “rizz” is the most anti-rizz thing ever! LOL
I call bullshit, but OK Rizz, go on.
NO FRAGRANCES FOR 60 YR OLDS
Agreed about the quality. Too many men just buy the cheapest clothes in a big box stores, instead of investing in higher quality pieces that make them stand out.
