The Biggest Business Opportunity in History

- (P.S. - SORRY FOR THE BAD SOUND. I HAD THE AUDIO GOING THROUGH MY WEB CAM AND NOT MY MIC. I HOPE YOU WATCH BECAUSE THIS IS IMPORTANT)
In this video, I discuss the biggest business opportunity in history, which is targeting older adults. The world's population is older than ever, especially in western countries. I debunk the misconception that marketing should only focus on the 18 to 35 age group and provide examples of successful businesses that cater to older adults. I highlight the importance of treating older people as vibrant individuals who want to stay active and engage in various activities. No action is requested from the viewers, but the video provides valuable insights for entrepreneurs and marketers.

THIS: it’s so important. My parents are 70> but were teens in the 60s & 70s. I’m 52 & Gen x. Literally never going to conform.
Tim, I am so "in" to creating something meaningful and inspirational for the senior market. Having done retirement programs in the past which focused only on long term care insurance, Medicare, how to cope with loss of a partner, and, basically, end of life issues, I know there is a huge underserved senior market that needs to be entertained, cultivated and fulfilled. Not sure exactly where to start, but I am ready to research. Great video today. Thanks! Christy Jankowski
Thanks. I'm glad you enjoyed it.
This exact topic has been percolating in my mind for quite a while. You're my sign to do it. I'm your newest subscriber. Thank you!
Good info, but I particularly enjoyed the dog with cone cameo 😂
lol she always has a cone. shes obsessed with ripping her nails out of her paw when she jumps on the fence. legit one of the most annoying things ever.
@@timstodz Aww poor girl. Hopefully she grows out of it sooner than later. From that glimpse she looks like a Lab? I'm a Boxer dog mom, so I understand life with a super high energy dog 😁
@@libbytelford shes a pitty. ive had pitbulls my whole life.
Fantastic video. Thanks, Tim!
Hey Tim I came across your vids a few weeks ago. I don't write content for a living, but being a 50 + yr. old I can see a huge need for this. I would like to learn more on this opportunity on how to get started.
Just do what I said. Start a substack. You don't even need to start off by writing original content. Just create a curated newsletter of like 5 links to interesting articles, deals on travel, new fashion, etc.
100% gonna work.
Man, as soon you started I knew where you were going with this.
I can't remember the first time you mentioned Brian's site, but it made so much sense.
Good stuff, working on creating a service with this audience in mind.
So much opportunity!
Yeah man. I really hope you go for it.
@@timstodz already on it.
Doing research on trends and writerzen for topic clusters and pillar content.
🤘
Tim this is interesting. I run a cold outreach agency and have been thinking about getting a newsletter going for some time. Would love to discuss ideas with you.
Hey..I might be interested. What do you have in mind? I'm in that age bracket.
On the topic of curating, do you have any tips on efficient and/or automated aggregation of different media types? (Better than Google alerts?)
I always used Twitter.
@@timstodz Thanks for the tip!
Your thumbnail text adds nothing more to your video, its the exact same as your title, feels like a waste.
They need to compliment each other not duplicate
@timstodz HMU. I have a couple of ideas for combining a few of your techniques (directory, newsletter, etc.) and a couple of domains to go with 'em. WP expert (recovering small agency owner), a modern elder with UX chops, writing chops, and a breadth of lived experience. Definitely down for writing the content.
