He didn't get a master plaga sample but still got a control plaga from Krauser's body and he sold that to Tricell that used it to create Plagas type 2 and 3 and also Uroboros virus for Wesker in addition to the progenitor virus he already had.

Krauser has the same one as Saddler, Salazar, and Mendez in the original bio4; in RE:4, only Saddler and Krauser have it. Wesker didn't acquire the Progenitor virus until he found the secret location of the first Umbrella lab which is where and how Uroboros was made. The Plaga had nothing to do with Uroboros, it was simply used to guard the project as well as fund it through the black market.
It's still unusual to not hear Wesker's iconic voice from RE5 or DBD but his new voice actor is great, different but great. I like that he no longer feels like some villainous caricature. I'm excited to see more of him in RE5 remake hopefully.

His voice also suits the shift in game tone, it's more serious. That's my opinion at least. His voice actor did well. I'm sure he'll do well in RE5 too.

In many Ways it Pass the original with Leon, Luis, Krauser and specially Ashley she was the most redone liked character in the game and a lot of the extra stuff was better but the cost was Ada had most her scenes removed and the Va didn’t help the dlc helped her character but not much really changed now for RE5 I really worry for Wesker because he has such a long history in this franchise so I don’t know how they handle it in one game

I don't understand how the plague survived so long after Krauser died. It seems more logical to me that he had a fight with Ada or that he later got her on a black market since there is a farm of them in Damnation.
In canon(pre DLC) he got it via Svetlana and Tricell's backhand black Market Simmons was Ada's secondary client who'm I guess is getting scrapped now...

It doesn't break anything. Wesker is the type of villain who uses people at his disposal, but always has a backup plan at the same time. He hired Ada because he clearly didn't want to get involved in any conflicts, but also took it to himself when he saw that he was betrayed at the end. Retrieving Krauser's body with a dead Plaga wasn't in his original plans. That was also explained way back in the OG canon as he supposedly got his hands on a "fake sample" from Ada. Even though the body can be used for research purposes, it's not the same thing as having the Amber itself, so this is where the retcon comes in. If you think of it, the same thing happened in Code Veronica: he always wanted Alexia's alive and fresh body, but all he got was Steve's dead body.

Weskers voice actor tries to sound scary and menacing but I found his voice so annoying instead. Sounds like Wesker has a bad toothache . lol
