- Lake Saint Clair located 30km north of Singleton, NSW has been stoked with some Australia's freshwater native species including Bass, Golden Perch, Silver perch and Eel tailed catfish. Nathan and I do an overnight trip in search of these Aussie icons and from all reports the dam was fishing well so we couldn't miss the opportunity! Daiwa Steez Chatterbaits was the choice of lure for both days, flicking along the weed edges in 2-3m of water was the key depth. 31 in total for the first day then the second day we cracked 83 leaving us a combine total for the trip of 114 fish! Stay Tuned for part 2 where we get into some surface action! I hope you guys enjoy! I really appreciate the support of late.
My Gear:
Rod: Daiwa TD zero 2-5kg 702LS
Reel: Daiwa TD Sol lll 2500

Great work, lake St Clair is one of my favourite dams.

loving the nath cam mate gives the video alot more perspective. top edit mate keep em coming.
Cheers mick! Been getting some good feedback on Nath cam so I reckon it will stick around 👍🏽
Those chatterbaits looks unreal.. shame they are impossible to find anymore
Ah they were kinda overpriced and the hook was too big. The Jackal ones were even more expensive but they were a better size and pretty nice quality.
Anyway, who wants to fish lures named after an internet porn site?
Njce work guys.
We smashed some good ones on Friday too.
Great video mate love your work
21:20 minute mark, theres a banger spot for big bass
Awesome video from both of you fellas, keep them coming mate 👍🏽
Cheers Julian! They will be coming throughout the whole year!
Chatterbaits are awesome.

Chatterbaits: Awesome
Chaturbate: 😬 clear your internet history
AMAZING FUN. Can i ask about the finder. I always have trouble fishing Dams and wonder if a finder is key to locating the fish .
A fish finder is definitely a big key Into finding fish and to help with the depth as they are the two important parts
Awesome video man! Your channel seems majorly underrated. Definitely earned my sub! 🔥
Cheers man! Appreciate the support 🤙🏽
Giddy-up!!!
I was literally there yesterday fishing the sticks and trees
How’d you go?
Well Played Fishing i got one fish at st clair and my mate got one at lostock i did a video about it as well
Hey mate what part of the dam did u go to?
Hey mate this was the northern part of the dam up the right arm
Hey mate, in this crazy covid time what do you use to hold the assist hooks on the chatter. Doing an online order at the store would normally just come in but can’t atm
Hey mate they are called pryml lumo beads, just order the smallest size there
@@wellplayedfishing7809 legend thanks mate
What size hook do u recommend I usually go smallest but I stuffed up with the fastach lure clips and threw a rapala v blade to the depths of glenbawn dam from a back lash hey
What rod and reel setup you using? Im about to start using plastics and hardbodies but got no idea where to start and dont want to pay woth my first born either lol
I’m running a 2500 size reel with 8lb braid and my rod is 2-5kg 7 foot. That combo is ideal if you want an all round light combo for chasing anything like bass, bream, flathead and so on. Is you want to get into lures I would go a graphite rod, a lot more sensitive and lighter so you will be able to feel more when working the lure. If you want a good budget set up I’d be looking at a TD hyper 2-6kg rod, they retail for around $140 then you could match that with a daiwa aird LT 2500 reel and they go for about $110. I hope that helps!
Legend! I ended up going out to see daley at hot tackle and brought their salty stage kr-x 2-5kg and im gonna throw an old daiwa aird x 2500 on and see how it goes.
Just bought a fishing Kayak, do you carry the red kayak on roof racks ok?
Yep on the roof racks with no dramas mate!
Nice vid mate. Have you got 2 x beads one above and below O ring? I have been using same connection as assist hooks to O ring doubled up pulled tight dab of epoxy glue.
Cheers mate. I wasn’t running two beads but my mate was as he didn’t have a plastic trailer on the end
@@wellplayedfishing7809 you were tying it onto hook?
@@xe8573 I just had one bead slipped over the hook with the assist hooks
😁👍
This is the problem with youtube. It becomes one big poorly concealed advertisement.
