Great video Steve, lovely walk! FYI I love the prickly pear...can not believe the islanders don't make fresh juice from them, tourists would love it. Goddess
Just watched this video. Beautiful beach, but unfortunately it's not one I'll get to see, too isolated and difficult to get to, i should have gone when I visited years ago, so I'll keep enjoying your videos, thank you!

Gee,I have lived in Malta my whole life and never knew about this beach, then again its a long way on foot to eventually get there and people have a better choice to go to other beaches around the island.

In the USA they are called 'Murder Hornets', to people they are not much worst than normal bees, yet they outright slaughter whole hives of honey bees in almost no time, they are so aggressive and deadly to honey bees, that they are often called 'Murder Hornets', or Killer Hornets. The ones that were found in the USA were all destroyed, to protect the honey bee population. All kinds of things could make one plant less healthy than the rest, or grow more slowly than the rest. For example when grafts are done, one grafted plant could be newer than the rest, one graft may not have been done as well as the rest. Sometimes a root stock will have a much weaker root system than normal, even of the same variety, yet when that happens the roots would eventually catch up anyway. One could have a different type of root stock than the rest. And yes it could be a bad spot as well, all kinds of things can be different from one spot to the next. Some of the old poor condition roads in Malta they have snakes, once I was walking around Malta on a road like that, and a snake went towards one of the people in our group. I think they usually stay away from people, yet sometimes one of them is daring.
Imgiebah is the plural of Migbel which means Stone Quarries in English. you have all the description in both languages on the first poster. they were stone quarries which after being exhausted were transformed into agricultural fields. its sides served to protect the crops. maltese like arabic uses root consonats . both words use the root letters G-B-L . stone in maltese is Gebel. GeBeL, imGieBah, miGBeL. Apiary in maltese means Garar tan-Nahal = beehives.

I have no idea, but very strong wied smell 😳🤧
We have a Mimosa tree here in Bulgaria. Don't think that was one. Ours has a pink and white daisy type flower.
