This makes me feel so validated because I HATE the Spectra. It is easy to use and works great when I need it but man, the logistics of lugging around the pump and all the parts and a cooler with ice packs is too much. I’m a first time mom to a 3 month old. My insurance didn’t cover my Spectra so I paid out of pocket, and now I am researching wearables for work and also life in general. A good wearable pump and Ceres thermos seem like the way to go for me personally. I’m 14w postpartum and feeling the need to pump every 2ish hours if I’m away from baby, and as a nurse that is simply not feasible for me.

She did a great job in this review video. I know it was hard to do (and I feel the same) but it’s a video that has to be done to help mama’s decide which pumps to consider and which ones not to, especially when they are new to breastfeeding/pumping.

I have the older model Lansinoh that came out before the Signature Pro and the older model works better. For me, the key was the right size flange. The 27 mm flange was too tight and caused a bunch of pain. My nipples were bleeding from the suction. The 30.5 mm worked way better for me. No more unbearable pain. No more bleeding nipples. My skin is healed on my nipples now. And i get 4 oz to 5 oz each pump for a total of 8 oz to 10 oz.

I got Ameda Mya from my insurance and the battery only lasted one pump for me and my output was terrible. I switched to the Spectra S1 and it was wonderful for a whole year of pumping at work. The battery lasted all 3 shifts since a plug was not in a good spot for me.

I've been on the Babyation emails since it came out, and was also excited by the concept and pushing tech further. But I'm glad to see your opinion before shelling out the money.

I wanted to add a few personal points for the bellababy wearable: the silicone flanges are bigger than typical sizes (ie size 24mm is more like a 27mm), if you need an insert you’ll want to use a shorter length insert that covers more of the breast…the best one I’ve found is the legendairymilk silicone inserts…regular inserts from Amazon just don’t fit right, these pumps are on the louder side but not any louder than the bellababy square pump…I’ve found that it seems louder to those using it because it’s right up under their ears rather than further away with typical tubing, lastly…it has pretty decent suction 🤷🏻‍♀️ this isn’t my main pump…I use their square portable pump as my main pump (I’ve used MANY pumps with this current pumping journey and so far their little square portable pump has outlasted others and has excellent suction)…so I don’t know how well the wearables battery lasts or how long it hold suction for…but I just wanted to point out a few of the things I noticed with this pump and hope that it will help a mom who is truly on a tight budget like myself 😊

Pumps are so varied in quality and function aren’t they! Sometimes the little inexpensive ones do make the cut! I’m glad you noted “this isn’t my main pump”, as I think that’s a key thing to know especially for newer pumpers. Some of these inexpensive options can be great for what they are! Thanks for your thoughts 💙 really appreciate your insight!

Lansinoh actually saved my breast feeding journey with my 2nd baby. I have very low supply and have to work super hard to keep it up. I had started out with the insurance issued Medela and it did almost nothing for me! I then tried a 2nd hand Spectra. It definitely worked better than the Medels but still not great. I impulse purchased a Lansinoh, with little expectations. I was amazed at how much I pumped the first time and it continued to help me until my baby was a year old. I'm on my 3rd baby now, and I choose Lansinoh for my insurance pump. I'm getting more milk this time than with my 2nd son, probably because I started out with the Landinoh this time.

I’m so happy the Bella baby wearable pump is on here! That thing leaked CONSTANTLY. I know you have to seal it well, but I feel like it’s so much work to seal it. I upgraded to a medela freestyle flex with the legendairy milk cups (the hands free doesn’t come in my flange size, 27mm), I love it so much more! i don’t even touch my “primary” Spectra S2 or motif Luna with battery anymore. I use the freestyle all the time! Legendairy milk cups outside the home, & the regular flanges in my size at home. :)

So far the symphony has worked for me - even though am still struggling to increase my supply and have a stash prior to going back to work. I started using the symphony in the NICU, gentle on the nipple and most production. Currently renting it since baby came home. Had a spectra at home - doesn’t empty quite as well but amount of time is equal compared to symphony. That’s too long for work
Babybudha damaged my nipple - seemed fast but I feel pain looking at it. Used with freemie cups - supply usually dips with cups. Too many parts to clean.
Mom cozy- very low output and lots of pain -
I don’t know where to go and am not ready to buy another pump. Is this something you can help me with. My supply has tanked and I don’t know if I can increase it.

I love my Baby Buddha with wearable cups i bought as an add on but the cleaning fir the cups is annoying. Im thankful im pumping what i need though and its easy to carry. I loved my Spectra with my first but even with a battery it was too annoying to drag it around, Baby Buddha is just a more convenient version of that basically.

So excited to see Medela's cups. They are only 3 parts. The only way I could express milk with a pump was the Baby Buddha with cups, but I also found them so annoying!

I actually love my lansinoh for home use, but i haddddd to get a new pump for work. I bought the phanpy for the cups (i since bought the legendairy cups and prefer these) only but the pump itself turned out to be very good for my output even though it was literally 30us. I also got the zomee z2 and use them interchangably

Man, I wish this video was out last week. I just bought the Babyation pump. I have not been able to get the same output as I do with my Spectra or Moftif. In 15 minutes I get about .5 oz on both sides and with the others I am already 2.5-3 ounces on both sides. :(

I have 7 different breast pumps. 4 are hands free. The worst and the most expensive breast pump is Elvie. It is look great and silent but the output of milk is so low like10 or 20 or max is 30 ml and any other pump is 90 ml. For me is massive dissapoitment. I have Babybella hand free and it was the cheapest pump and I have the best output from all hands free pumps, much better then Elvie. The only bad side it is loud and bulky but I prefer that than lovely silent pump which don't express milk propely and waisting my time.
