A very good machine. I owned and worked the guts out of several Tesroros many moons ago. For me, in the UK, the best of them was the black-stemmed Tejon. The black-stemmed Tejons were designed for Western European hunters. They had a very much wider Fe discrimination range than the Grey-stemmed US Tejons. I sent mine to Dave, at Pentechnic UK for tweaking and fitting with the 'UK Pro' user select fixed GB option, for chronically mineralised ground. I worked Tejon for over five years. One hell of a fine machine. No need to run it above 2/3 Gain for most site work. I still have mine, plus five search heads. Sold my Comp',Lobo, Vaqu' and Euro Sabre 2..... The Euro Sabre 2 had Fe tone.
If you went live, I missed it. Was out pulling weeds and using my pin pointer on the edge of the walkway where the public walks up and down in front of our house. Found scrappy metal a dime and a susan b Anthony. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
The Tesoro signal tones are wonderful....music to your ears. I still have 4 Tesoros, all from the 21 century...the one I wish I had kept was the Silver Sabre II, I think it came out about 1992. It was a great detector.
If you like the Silver Sabor and you are somewhat handy with a soldering iron, you can always go on Geotech1 ( www.geotech1.com/forums/forum) and read up on TGSL which is basically a slightly better DIY version of the Sliver Sabre

In my opinion the best Tesoro detector they ever put on the markt. I had 7 different Tesoro's but the Lobo Super Traq was the best. It found me so much gold, not normaal. Sold all my Tesoro's a few years ago put the Lobo Super Traq i kept. I don't use it anymore but i can't sell it for sentimental reasons.

Love seeing new tesoro videos. The later lobo supertrac has a few more features.
Can pit some tape over the speaker grill to deaden the sound.
Love the tesoro disc circuit. Not as easy to do the "tesoro roll" on these models since the disc knob isnt by yiur thumb like the umax ones.
Very cool detector.
To make the overall detector balance more comfortable mount the control box close to the armrest...really makes a difference!
I've had 3 Bounty Hunters. I have one to a new starter and one to a grind that's pockets were empty. Still got one. I liked them all. Found lots. But nothing compare to my equinox 800
If you ever run into a Tesoro Vaquero somewhere, DO NOT pass on it, Those are some of the finest and deepest analog detect. BTW 8:17 17.8khz if for the super, the normal lobo is actually a 20KHZ detector.
Love these vintage MD videos. You need a rule though. If it’s newer than the machine you’re using, back in the ground it goes!

Yes! It's got the oldschool jack, need the adapter for newer headphones haha. I have one laying around somewhere, bet the tones are even better with headphones on. 👍👍

Ce détecteur est a utilisé en mode tous métaux il est conçu pour recherche orifere et il lui mis un mode discrimination mais pas conçu pour recherche en mode discrimination.
Disque concentrique pas terrible mais bon pour recherche orifere avec beaucoup de minéralisation.
Moi j'ai le disque DD plus performant
