Greetings All !! So many of you have wished me Merry Christmas, I'd like to respond by wishing you the same. Thanks for the support and best wishes for a healthy and fun 2025.
Just purchased looking forward to using it in my shop at home. Really appreciate all the knowledge you are sharing with everyone, I enjoy watching your miniature builds as well. Will hopefully get to try one in the future. Thanks again
Hi Joe.I always keep an eye on this setup when I use my rotary table.I need to go to the many videos that you have about how to use the rotary table.Thank you.
Best manual machining tip I ever received. Thanks for both versions of this one. Sounds ridiculous, but I would LOVE to know how you store all the bits and bobs that go with each piece of equipment (or not). Nuts, clamps, centering tool, indicator holders, adjustable parallel, grinding vice, … where were all of these BEFORE you shot this video? Gradually dawning on me that organization (and dedicated tooling) is at least half the battle.
I actually purchased the tool while the video was playing, it's always been sold out in the past and I was finally able to get one, the video was also informative as usual!!
All the very best of the best to you and yours this 24 xmas time Joe Pie. Ever since we first met I have been a great fan of your setups and vice settings. If we are to call each other machinists every .0001 of an inch counts. Cutting those pieces is a breeze if properly set up. Getting those precious tenths as well so at the end of a day when we head home we can do so with a click of our heels and a mile wide grin. Getting to be intimatly framiliar with the machines is really important as each and everyone has their quirks. I have never seen one that was perfect. As with the relationship between DRO's and a bed needing a good scrape and polish. Well my southern friend. You praactise what you preach And the proof is right in front of us. Thanks eh. I hope you get some play time in the next couple weeks. Recreation is just a diferent type of work. Some wind in your sails and or just a nice long ride to make sure there are no spider webs stuck in there eh, LOL. So take care of you and yours and I am exited to see what 2025 has in store forus all. ONWARD !
That is a neat tool Mr. Joe. The set-up that you demonstrated is exactly what I needed to make the slave rods on a 3 cylinder radial engine that I am drawing up. Thank you.
A merry Xmas and happy new year to you and your family. When ever I used the rotary table on the mill I had to take my time and think things out as I found it real easy to make a mistake. I made a half round tool like you have but didn't have the other dimensions. I used gauge blocks or as we called them "Slips or Slip Gauges". I guess because the would slip or stick together.
Did you get a new mill for your shop? Looks different, painted white. I have one of your Alignment Pins a friend of mine gave me a few years ago. He bought two of them from you website. They do come handy at times along with the toe straps I bought from you. thanks for sharing, Ken.
Thanks for the forecast! I have a quick question: I have a SafePal wallet with USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). How should I go about transferring them to Binance?
Joe, I know that you do not have a Cross slide rotory turn table, but you could have done this in one setup with one! You just have to think like a programmer/nc operater. That would be simple for you.

I don't know what Joe will say, but In my experience, more tools= more tool boxes. Plus cases that certain tools come in.
Hi Joe, hope you and yours have a great Christmas and a happy and healthy new year.

The pin, the reference rail mounted to the table and some adjustable parallels make setup a breeze.

Thanks! Glad to help with your project.

OMG!! You didn't use your parallel tension springs!! Blasphemy! A blatant example of "do as I say not as I do". LOL. Merry Christmas!

It was a test to see who's paying attention. You both get an 'A'

Those X-Y rotary tables are nice, but weigh a ton.
This is a repeat ....I remember you did this a few years ago
It does say so in the title...
True, but I have to imagine many of my newer subscribers haven't seen it.
Thanks for the video. However, the hyper text in the comments doesn’t take me to any place where I can buy them. Merry Christmas!
