Hi, thanks for the video. When I click on Region FX, select Drum Replacer, all the options are greyed out. I've closed it and opened a new project but still the same. What do I need to do first in order to have the options in Drum Replacer available to me? Thanks
Drum Replacer maybe great for drum replacement, but not layering. DR reads the beginning of the transient, this method causing the layered samples recognizable, give you some kind of flam-like double hits which came from the original track and the layered sample track. Drumagog and Slate Trigger load the samples by detects the peak of the transients, not the beginning.
I got the 2018 version provided by BandLab, who are resurrecting Sonar. However, Drum Replacer is nowhere to found in this version. Is it gone? I actually picked up Sonar Platinum for this function. (No complaints.... free Sonar Platinum is one heck of a give-away! Maybe Drum Replacer will be a paid add-on. I would consider paying for it. Otherwise, I'll use Regroover by Accusonus.
Hmmm, maybe I just don't know how to access it. How do you get to it? I'm used to another DAW, but still, they all have definite similarities, no matter how apparently different. So I messed around for a few hours looking for it. So, is it really still there? How do you get to it? It doesn't seem to match the video. Thanks in advance if I hear from you!
@@craigdaubbeats-rapinstrume9185 Actually, in the time since I originally posted, I picked up Jamstix 4 by Rayzoon. I now create most of my drum parts with that. I absolutely love it. It has somewhat of a learning curve, but it totally rocks!
Now this is how Drum replacement should be done! Well Done!

Please remove ambient background music while the host speaks. It's distracting, tiring and has nothing to do with the theme exposed.
