In Theravada Buddhism there are no bikkunies (female monks) . The link of female monks lasted only for 500 years from the first female monk Maha prajapathi gothami (Buddha's second mother) ordained by Buddha. - Refer Gothamie Sutta of Majjima nikaya (the book of medium disclosures)
