There are very few channels that are worth the notification for every video they upload. For me, they're MKBHD, throttle house, stuff made here and... Vince!
Wow, what an incredible honor to see my name in this list! Thank you so much, made my day! Hope you‘ll enjoy the upcoming videos too, I‘ve got a lot planned! 😊
Macbooks are amazing machines. Even if people hate on it for being “slow” compared to $2000+ pc, the new silicon chips are unbeatable. It doesn’t get warm, takes most tasks that your pc can do, and macs have an amazing portability and build quality. It’s almost unbeatable.
I don't have a Mac, but my mom does and I always tell her about your videos, and even I often watch them. She's not very good with technology, but you've helped her a lot. Just from watching your videos, I can tell that you take a lot of care and dedication, and your editing is insane. This should take some time, but I wish you could post more. Keep doing it, you're amazing.❤❤
Such a high praise, thank you very much! It's always super motivating to read comments like yours, knowing that I can make a (tiny) positive impact in someone's life! I've got a lot more videos planned, so I hope you'll both enjoy them too! All the best to you and your mother! 😊
It's hard to describe the beautiful feeling that makes me feel and enjoy every video of yours bro. It has so many small details that blow my head. Your videos are at Apple level. It is the attention to detail that makes them perfect. Keep it up.
Man, thank you so much! It's always incredibly rewarding to hear your feedback, as every time you notice the small details/easter eggs that I put so much work into (and also have so much fun with). As always - I appreciate it! 😊
4:00 another organization pro tip I also use. Place numbers in front of your folders to arrange them in the order you will use them. This will keep them in the same order no matter what new files you add to the folder later on (because by default they will arrange alphabetically). Make sure to use a two digit system starting with zero, for folders 1-9. The purpose of this is because if you start with a single digit numbering scheme, folder 10 would be arranged before folder 2, because the first digit in the folder name is 1, which is lower than 2. So you would get: 10, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9. What you want is: 01, 02, 03, 04, 05, 06, 07, 08, 09, 10 🙂
Man i started following you when you had a thousand subscriber and i knew soon you'll reach that 1M. Really Thank you for your efforts. My mac and filing system is more organized because of you. As a doctor you helped me alot.
Thank you so much 😀 It's always incredibly rewarding to hear feedback like yours - knowing that my videos make a (tiny) impact in people's lives - so I really appreciate that!
I stopped using the desktop for storing files or launching applications quite some time ago. The only usage I still have for the desktop are aesthetic wallpapers and since (somewhat) recent updates widgets. It has automatically made me help organizing my files and folders and makes me think how and where I want to store files and helps me in preventing clutter.
I just got my first Macbook so i started looking for videos to learn about using it since i have used Windows for like 20 years. Your videos are the best ones on TH-cam by far, so thank you for creating them. I just wanted to make one note, even tho Mac is complex OS like any other, there is much things to talk about but after a while you will cover most of them and then try not to repeat them too much. I would rather focus on useful apps and going more into details on them. Cheers!
Thanks so much for the kind words and the feedback! It's great to hear the videos have been helpful for your transition to Mac. I'll definitely take your suggestion on board - I know what you mean and I'll also try to make videos on other hardware/gadgets in the future.
If you aren't using Raycast or Alfred, you're really missing out on a lot. You can get even more thing done with just that Cmd + Space (or whatever shortcut you set for Raycast/Alfred), including running your shortcuts directly from Raycast (no need to bring your mouse to the menu bar as you said in the video) and even custom scripting in various languages like Apple Script, Python, Ruby, and more....
Hey Mac Vince. Nice work. Your skills are outstanding. Freelance ad agency writer/producer for 15 years & with an agency for the previous 25. (TV ad whore, V/O guy, audio engineer & training video's mainly). I've been predominately windows/adobe based, you've have helped me rediscover macOS after the purchase of an m1 MacBook Air. Your video's are highly informative and entertaining. Some of your B roll choices are quite interesting. Great sense of humor. Keep up the good work. Thanks for all your help.
Wow, thank you so much for the high praise! It always makes my day to read such kind comments, as this really motivates me to keep doing what I do. I'm sure you know better than me how much work goes into such videos, so I can't thank you enough! All the best and I'll see you in the next one!
Congratulations on your work! What you do gives me a great emotion when using my mac, like the first time many years ago. Being able to create that emotion again is a great talent you have. You are one of those people with that one would want to talk for hours about mac and productivity. Your talent for creating such attractive videos is extraordinary!
MacVince Talk about perfect timing. I just created a template in Numbers to keep track of my CLE (continuing legal education credits). I was worried I’d overwrite the blank template. Saw your tip in this video to ensure that a new blank copy is created from the original. I immediately applied that option to my template Many thanks, sir. Great video - as always.
You are an absolute GENIUS! I mean, every video you create is full of golden tips and tricks. It's soooo useful! Million thanks for all your hard work!
