I have never seen Somalia in my life, I was born in Kenya raised in UK and know I live in Tanzania one of the most peaceful country in Africa... oooh how I wish my motherland was peaceful as the country I reside. Well I understand your grief and pain as I aslo share it. Hodan was doing the opposite of what your concluded. Losing hope which by the way if you are Muslim Allah says multiple times to never lose hope is sad thing. If you really loved Hodan Nalayeh then the best way to honor her legacy is to amplify your love for Somalia. While the way she died was horrific, her death was something Allah had already decreed. No nation or people have seen change by losing hope! As our beloved sister said if we Somalis from Somalia don't contribute to our beautiful country then who will. I know that you are Somali Kenyan so maybe that's way it's easier for to lose hope in my country but trust me My sister Hodan has inspired many young Somalis from Somalia to not only return to our country but to contribute. I have never seen Somalia in my life, I was born in Kenya raised in UK and know I live in Tanzania one of the most peaceful country in Africa... oooh how I wish my motherland was peaceful as the country I reside.
I have lost all hope for my beloved country, Only Somali people can defeat alshabab but they get support from some of us and some foreign entities, that’s why they continue to survive.

Well I understand your grief and pain as I aslo share it. Hodan was doing the opposite of what your concluded. Losing hope which by the way if you are Muslim Allah says multiple times to never lose hope is sad thing. If you really loved Hodan Nalayeh then the best way to honor her legacy is to amplify your love for Somalia. While the way she died was horrific, her death was something Allah had already decreed. No nation or people have seen change by losing hope! As our beloved sister said if we Somalis from Somalia don't contribute to our beautiful country then who will. I know that you are Somali Kenyan so maybe that's way it's easier for to lose hope in my country but trust me My sister Hodan has inspired many young Somalis from Somalia to not only return to our country but to contribute. Hodan left us a legacy of just 5-6years that's how long she was doing Integration tv. She knew the risk she was taking. The woman she admired Saado Ali Warsame died 5 years ago and that didn't stop Hodan from showcasing Somalia because losing hope while you are alive is the worst thing. ❤
