You are a life/wallet saver. My passenger window is stuck down and I'm not about to pay $230+ to get it fixed. Just gonna remove the panel myself and get it raised back up, or even just go to the repair shop with the panel already off (along with the necessary motor) so they don't charge me as much to do that part
Hi lindah have you become a flat earther yet? If not I suggest watch a 13 part series called _What on earth happened_ by Ewaranon to learn that the earth is not a globe. I got it in my about tab.
Wow your awesome and detailed!! Still couldn't pull of my left rear door of an older 2003 mitsubbishi highlander...(trying to fix stck window). Have to do more research on my car
Thank you very clear and helpful I remember once removing the panel of my BMW and under it was this Clear film stuck with butyl tape. What a mess getting that off and put it back on. I’m sure there’s a better way.
My bolt is stuck !!! It is just spinning and spinning !!!! I need to get behind it but I can’t because there is a plastic housing protecting the bolt !!!!
My family have a Adventure 2008 GLX and one time I was putting wd-40 the red long thing fall down to the inside below the window thing and I got so annoyed that I want to learn how to remove the door siding panel right side in passenger seat. I'm 17 tho and I'm transitioning to learn more about car.
After removing the door card using tips in this video, what to do with foam layer? Assume its there for sound deadening. Can it be removed non-destructively?
I ended up using a heat gun to loosen the glue around the edge. Pealed off the foam layer. Then afterwards when putting back together, reapplied the heat gun around the edge to make the glue tacky and pressed the foam layer back into place. Would have been much harder without a heat gun.
My door panel on Skoda Fabia MK1 is stuck where it joins with the window. It's impossible to get unstuck without tearing. It's that thin plastic piece that comes right between the window and the door. Any advice?
I’m buying some aftermarket speakers for my car and they are recommending me to buy some kinda tool to take out the door panel for 20 bucks should I buy them or ?
I don’t know why they would be asking 20$ for the tool to remove the panel it should be included with the install so is find a different place or tell them to get their own tool
Do assembly in reverse of disassembly. Take a video ad you go or take pictures of each screw/part removal as you do it and then look at pictures in reverse to reassemble door again.

2008 jeep patriot inside door panel
If you only need access to the top, do you still have to take out the whole thing?
Depends on the panel, but usually - yes, you do.
How when the door will not open at all?
are we all here to fix a window 😂😂
Not me, just wrapping my Anterior

Aren't you having a hard time getting the lock in order to disconnect it to pull the panel out
those engineers think they're supposed to play hide and seek with those screws ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
okay soooo, how i put the door panel back on

All that to simply remove the interior shell of a door. Smh. Over-thought, far too over-engineered and needlessly complex.
It's so you aren't able to do it yourself and have to take it in for repairs. Same thing with your phones, laptops, etc.
Not really that complex
Excellent video. Thanks.
Awesome video
