If you have a knife with build in flint, it isn't that difficult to start a fire if you know what you are doing. The key is to find a piece of dried up rotten wood and some really fine kindling. When you get a spark on the dry rotten wood, it will stay hot enough to make fire for a really long time. In fact, you pretty much have to deny it air to get it to burn out. It's like how a cigarette or incense remain lit. If you hold fine kindling, like from a bird's nest on it and blow, you will get a flame in less than a minute.

Dave Canterbury's 5 Cs of survivability (cutting tool, cordage, combustion, container and cover) is a good place to start when building a kit. These five items are the hardest to reproduce from natural materials, take the largest amount of skill to reproduce, and they also make it easier to create a lot of other things that you may need.

I thought it was from the first season of Dual Survival
The thing about drinking your own piss is that you risk getting sick or an infection. Despite urine being 95% water it is also 5% waste and bacteria, furthermore as you drink it those percentages change. The best advice is only doing it as your last resort and hope for the best. There’s also better uses for urine like putting it on your skin to cool down and such.
Can you please do a island survival episode as you guys have thought up in this episode. Maybe for a 2 Millions Sub special or somthing. Probably wont last very long and have a emergency crew on standby so will be safe and wont be super time consuming. I assume you can maybe set a goal for 1 week and see how far you each get. Or you can all 3 work together but still can only use the 3 tools they came with(Have a rule where you can’t touch each others starting tools.) I think it would be super interesting, but also could bring alot of new viewers(Maybe set up some challenges to keep the episode relavent to goals in this channel).

Unless they get a sponsor willing to burn tens of millions of $ for it, it's not gonna happen. Renting an island, flying all the recording gear, paying for the on-site EMS crew, having a chopper or boat on standby for an emergency evac (ex. Freak tropical storm), all of that adds up to way too much cost for just a bunch of YT vids.
A water filter perhaps some fuel, a metal cannister, soap, blanket, medicine, a knife and maybe toilet paper. Ideally I'd want the full expedition works though.

Those are more than 3 items and why would you bring soap and toilet paper? I don't think smelling good is good for survival, and just washing yourself with clean water should be good enough and toilet paper? You're going to run out of toilet paper

You don't need soap specifically. You can use some plants as soap.
What's the point of saying you'll take limited recourses for survival? Unless you have a life time supply of soap, medicine, fuel and toilet paper.
Eventually you'll run out of soap, what are you going to do with the bacteria then?

Here’s what you bring:
1) knife with a partial saw on the back
2) big lighter or a magnesium fire starter
3) two metal jerry cans attached together by a plastic hose. fill one with salt water, put in fire till it turns to steam, steam cools in tube and enters other jerry can.

Three things: A knife with fire starter, a military canteen, a roll of black electrician tape.
Why tape? It is the best single first aid item you can have. It works like a bandaid, it kills bacteria, and you could wrap it entirely around a limb if you have a really serious wound.
3 items to take with you, would be in my case:
- a fullsized intermodal container filled with different kinds of furniture (could use as normal furniture or as recources)
- Multipurpose Axe, Hammer, and Knife Tool, 14-in-1 Portable Camping and Emergency Survival Mini Lightweight Folding Hatchet (... it explains itself)
- Aqualine 18 waterfilter (bo ohw'o'wo'er)

i think it is fine to drink your own piss once, the first time you get out a lot of water and the waste, if you do it a second time you'll be drinking back too much waste (I'm just randomly guessing, i have no research on this). you can probably tell by how yellow it is
oh and i saw the snake piss thing !! i don't remember if he did it to filter the piss like connor said or just to keep it stored tho
the raft he mentioned i think is when Bear Grylls took sea water rectally because there's bird poop in it, so that was a safer alternative to drinking piss. but if you're not on the ocean with a hose, you can't really do that.

Im bringing a machete, tarp, and rope. Tarp for collecting rainwater/making a bag for water AND shelter, rope and knife for everything else. Rope I could sub for a survival guide since i know you can use natural items as rope pretty commonly, its just so time consuming. Rope can also be used for a makeshift net

As someone who lives in the wilderness, a knife, something for getting meat(depending on what kind island), and flint. Cause a knife can be used for anything, making a spear, making anything that you can that a knife can cut, a net or a rod would be convenient tho a rod can be made easily with the knife, along with a spear. Flint is better then “fire starters” like matches and lighters, cause your screwed if the matches get wet and the the lighter runs out of kerosene.

As someone minorly in the bushcraft/knife community Connor has no idea what he's talking about saying he can make a knife by bashing some rocks together. Only certain rocks or minerals are durable to even knapp (yes that's what its called) or will make a fine enough edge.
furthermore think about the rocks and the hardness of all the materials avalible to you on an island, all those materials are equal to eachother so they would constantly be breaking eachother. The point of a knife is the bring something from outside the enviorment that is harder/ more usefully shaped than most native items.
Otherwise yeah I'd love to see a 3man Dickhead Survival series.

Not many people know how important rope is for survival, if you know how to tie lashings and knots you can build so many amazing structures to sleep in or even use it to build other stuff too like rafts
Learn about the incredible versatility of the coconut. You’ve got food, water, and fibers with which you can make rope, use as kindling etc.
Seeds for longterm food.. heck even one or a few potatoes would be great, a toolset (those pocket ones) a metal pot for cooking etc. pretty sure there is better items.
This is late but I would get a medical kit, a box full of food rations, and a tent.
I would bring a car door so that I can roll down the window if it ever gets hot.
I would take a person who is an expert in surviving under such circumstances
There is this really cool app, Called survival manual, it weighs 10mb and it has a lot of info to help you survive in many kinds of situations, it's really cool, I always have it installed just in case.

You can make a net out of rope, bit of a redundant pick when you think about it but it is a n easy oversite to make

If theres a palm tree you can turn the leaves into strips and brain it into a rope, if you have smal game on the island you can use the senew as rope, even some seaweed is tough enough for making rope

Hopefully, between the water filter and the knife I would have the necessary components to survive until I get picked up/saved.
