I want to say thank you for doing what you do. I only live in a motel room but I still sometimes get so overwhelmed that I get behind. You are such an inspiration to me to keep moving forward. I actually tackled cleaning the shower. I didn't realize how long I had let it go lol.
Congrats to Avery on her award. My son just got recognized by his teacher for a leadership award for the first quarter. And you're right, academics and sports accolades aside this sort of award is so much more meaningful to me to know he is being such a good person and example to others!
I have a 12 year old grandson, he makes all A’s, plays multiple sports, is the class president for his 7 th grade class, Vice President for FBLA, is involved in the youth group at church. But the thing, I am most proud of him for is his kindness and his compassion heart for others. We live in a small town, so people know each other and many many times, people will tell me what a fantastic kid he is. His parents have done a great job!!!! Congrats to Avery but it says a lot about you and Mike, also.

Congratulations Avery on your award! My low for the week was my grandpa's funeral. He was 94 and lived a very fulfilled life. And my high was getting some Christmas shopping done. It will be here before we know it.
It was so helpful to hear you talk about how it get easier, or less messy, when kids get older. I have a 6mo baby, 3yo, and 5yo right now. My 5yo does half day kindergarten so it really is a lot keeping up with the messes and feeding the baby does take up so much time! Been feeling like I’m drowning lately and these reminders always help that this time is fleeting and we will make it through! Thanks Jamie! ❤

I remember those PCSing days. You’re doing it right. Declutter before the move. I didn’t before we moved from Texas to Georgia and it has been a journey trying to declutter. Even after 5 years.
Thank You soo much Jamie for the motivation!! I can feel my depression creeping back in at times. I keep going everyday for my four beautiful children, they are my motivation in life regardless of how I am feeling...while I do struggle with depression at times I refuse to let it win. We will be moving the first week in December, which is an overwhelming feeling. We are moving from my home state away from my family to move to where my husbands family is, its just the best decision for our family right now since my husband is the sole financial provider for our family. At times while I do contribute in many ways I wish I could contribute more to help financially. My husband is not a citizen so it makes things harder for him. I am however grateful that we have the things we need and always remind myself of the blessings we do have. Thanks again Jamie! Much motivation needed.

I have a twin sister and I definitely understand the need to be competitive 😂 don’t worry, they should grow out of it! My sister and I are both 31 now and we grew out of it well over a decade ago. I’m in the season of life where I’m an empty nester. Oh how I miss those busy times and messes to clean up! But I’ve been blessed and 3 of my 4 kids still live here and most of my grands. Don’t wish that time to pass too fast!
Way to go, Avery! When my kids were in school, they didn't have it included in an assembly, but they had something called "caught being good" so if teachers or peers felt someone was being a good person or went above and beyond to be helpful they would get a gift certificate to different places. My kids loved it!

Our 2 year old and I watch together on Sunday’s ❤ I make my to do lists while watching and you always give me a reminder and the motivation to clean things I either forget about or put off. My high point to the week was the fact that I actually got a lot done this week. My low point to the week is that I both started and ended my menstrual cycle. I have PCOS too, and endometriosis. I was in horrible, almost paralyzing pain Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday, and getting through those days while working was so difficult. But I did it! Just a nice, humble, reminder that we can get through so much! We are trying so hard for our second child, and it just is even more difficult this time around. My period brings so many mixed emotions. And the hormone fluctuations 😮 my poor husband is a rock star ⭐️ We are so excited for Halloween 🎃

Our school system started the Top Cat award a couple of years ago, and my daughter got the Top Cat of the Year award that year (they started it at the end of the year. Now they do one every six weeks), and it is the same sort of award. It is for being a leader, helper, and for including kids that haven't been included by anyone else, and when she received the award, I literally cried. I was so incredibly proud of her. So, I get it. I was so touched that you took the time to read it and to comment. Because I know how crazy busy you must be. Right now, I am literally gutting and completely cleaning out my mudroom which I use as a pantry, and which I have not cleaned or even purged in terms of outdated, canned goods, etc. since before the domestic violence situation had started many years ago. As I said that situation is over now. Thanks to Jesus Christ . Our school system started the Top Cat award a couple of years ago, and my daughter got the Top Cat of the Year award that year (they started it at the end of the year. Now they do one every six weeks), and it is the same sort of award. It is for being a leader, helper, and for including kids that haven't been included by anyone else, and when she received the award, I literally cried. I was so incredibly proud of her. So, I get it. So, proud of your girl and her award! It doesn't surprise me though because you are such a beautiful person inside and out, and they adore you. I love the pictures! They are adorable! I was so touched that you took the time to read it and to comment. Because I know how crazy busy you must be. Right now, I am literally gutting and completely cleaning out my mudroom which I use as a pantry, and which I have not cleaned or even purged in terms of outdated, canned goods, etc. since before the domestic violence situation had started many years ago. As I said that situation is over now. Thanks to Jesus Christ . But the task is so daunting and overwhelming and so I am doing it while listening to your latest video which is so comforting and so empowering.

Hi Jamie, it’s funny because I am the same way, I love using different cleaning tools and products. I have a whole closet just for this.
