I am a teacher and a mom of 2 kids. The first thing I look at on their report cards are the comments…not the grades. Keep up the good work - you are teaching your babies well ❤

It was so helpful to hear you talk about how it get easier, or less messy, when kids get older. I have a 6mo baby, 3yo, and 5yo right now. My 5yo does half day kindergarten so it really is a lot keeping up with the messes and feeding the baby does take up so much time!

I have a 12 year old grandson, he makes all A’s, plays multiple sports, is the class president for his 7 th grade class, Vice President for FBLA, is involved in the youth group at church. But the thing, I am most proud of him for is his kindness and his compassion heart for others. We live in a small town, so people know each other and many many times, people will tell me what a fantastic kid he is. His parents have done a great job!!!! Congrats to Avery but it says a lot about you and Mike, also.
You know that your children learn what they see at home, so not only is the award a fantastic reflection of your daughter, but also a great reflection back at you and Mike. The way the world is right now, God help us all to be the same kind of reflection through our lives that are kiddos will keep that reflection going. Kudos to you all.

My low for the week was my grandpa's funeral. He was 94 and lived a very fulfilled life. And my high was getting some Christmas shopping done. It will be here before we know it.

Our 2 year old and I watch together on Sunday’s ❤ I make my to do lists while watching and you always give me a reminder and the motivation to clean things I either forget about or put off.
My high point to the week was the fact that I actually got a lot done this week.
My low point to the week is that I both started and ended my menstrual cycle. I have PCOS too, and endometriosis. I was in horrible, almost paralyzing pain Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday, and getting through those days while working was so difficult. But I did it! Just a nice, humble, reminder that we can get through so much! We are trying so hard for our second child, and it just is even more difficult this time around. My period brings so many mixed emotions. And the hormone fluctuations 😮 my poor husband is a rock star ⭐️

Thank You soo much Jamie for the motivation!! I can feel my depression creeping back in at times. I keep going everyday for my four beautiful children, they are my motivation in life regardless of how I am feeling...while I do struggle with depression at times I refuse to let it win. We will be moving the first week in December, which is an overwhelming feeling. We are moving from my home state away from my family to move to where my husbands family is, its just the best decision for our family right now since my husband is the sole financial provider for our family. At times while I do contribute in many ways I wish I could contribute more to help financially. My husband is not a citizen so it makes things harder for him. I am however grateful that we have the things we need and always remind myself of the blessings we do have. Thanks again Jamie! Much motivation needed.

I’m in the season of life where I’m an empty nester. Oh how I miss those busy times and messes to clean up! But I’ve been blessed and 3 of my 4 kids still live here and most of my grands. Don’t wish that time to pass too fast!

Way to go, Avery! When my kids were in school, they didn't have it included in an assembly, but they had something called "caught being good" so if teachers or peers felt someone was being a good person or went above and beyond to be helpful they would get a gift certificate to different places. My kids loved it!

I have a twin sister and I definitely understand the need to be competitive 😂 don’t worry, they should grow out of it! My sister and I are both 31 now and we grew out of it well over a decade ago. Our school system started the Top Cat award a couple of years ago, and my daughter got the Top Cat of the Year award that year (they started it at the end of the year. Now they do one every six weeks), and it is the same sort of award. It is for being a leader, helper, and for including kids that haven't been included by anyone else, and when she received the award, I literally cried. I was so incredibly proud of her. So, I get it. So, proud of your girl and her award! It doesn't surprise me though because you are such a beautiful person inside and out, and they adore you. I love the pictures! They are adorable! I was so touched that you took the time to read it and to comment. Because I know how crazy busy you must be. Right now, I am literally gutting and completely cleaning out my mudroom which I use as a pantry, and which I have not cleaned or even purged in terms of outdated, canned goods, etc. since before the domestic violence situation had started many years ago. As I said that situation is over now. Thanks to Jesus Christ . No twins here, but I have a friend with triplets and she instituted “kid of the day” with her kids. Whoever was kid of the day got first choice, and they rotated KotD every day so everyone got a turn. I use it with my two, and it does really help!

You know what I think is cool is when I already have a cleaning tool you recommend.😃 Oh Jamie I started your video and about two minutes in I stopped it and went and straightened up the house. I had my granddaughter (18 months) overnight, my trick knee refuses to bend without pain and the girl woke up every 3 hours…bright eyed and ready to play…so we had to play for about an hour each time. This messed up our Sunday schedule but oh well. The house was crazy and I was wiped out so I came to bed at 6 but I felt guilty and now I can enjoy your video guilt free. ❤ Your girls look great on the wall! The mop scene was funny. Looking forward to my Sadie picking up her toys, ha only 2 1/2 years to go.🙂

I babysit her every school day. I miss her so much on the weekends so having her overnight is a treat. I dread when the time comes for her to go to preschool but I will enjoy this time. I can’t imagine twins. Many, many years ago me and my two kids babysat the neighbor’s twins. It took all 3 of us to change one diaper….one to get the supplies, me to do the actual cleaning and one to dispose of the used diaper…all while keeping an eye on the other twin who was waiting her turn. I applaud you.👏

High point yo my week: my husband had a spot in his lungs, so he had to have a PET scan and a CAT scan. It came back negative for cancer! Yay and Whew! It has been a tough couple of weeks.
