Hey blink..... It's not like that.... Just do ncert and SAMPLE PAPERS( oswals is must).... you'll get it.. I got 97.6% in my boards.... Most of students don't get very high marks just because one reason - LACK OF SELF CONFIDENCE.
Yeah I get i haven't been a top student i was a failing student till atleast class 8 but when i started giving my time and taking it seriously I scored good marks YOU CAN DO ANYTHING THE ONLY THING YOU NEED TO DO IS TO WORK HARD

Hey You dont need to refer alot of different textbooks for icse. Only go with what your school's following. For literature read the novel multiple times, underline the key words you have to write those in your answers to score good. For language- practice is the key, you need to solve alot of sample papers for that. I recommend you start asap with that, be very clear about what type of essay you'll be attempting. Descriptive, narrative, story telling, imaginative . Identify what you can do best. I usually attempted story telling essays as they gave me alot of creative freedom. Build your vocab in summer vacations. For history and geography religiously follow one book and soak all of it in. It is easier to score 99 or even 100 in these subjects. For maths practice is the key , there are mostly repetitive questions . Physics requires some extra effort, you need to solve every solved and unsolved numerical given. Chemistry is comparatively easier. And for bio you just need to read the textbook over and over again and be very clear with each and every diagram. I dont recommend solving the pyqs till you are done with the whole syllabus. Once you are done than you should go for it. I personally hated geography, so that's way I put in extra effort for that and ended up scoring 100 on it. You need to identify your weak subjects and fix them first. Take your term exams seriously, and start analyzing your weak parts and work on them. Dont take alot of stress, its very possible to score good if you work consistently. You dont need to study 8-9 hrs . Just dont procrastinate and do your little every day and you are good. 😄✨

I didn't study 10 hrs a day that's alot tbh, initially I used to worry about how many hours im studying and would try to inc it from 4 to 5 than 5:30 and so But that didn't work for me I would have a to-do list for everyday and would try to get as close as to the goal not worrying about the hours im putting me. That way i'll be more satisfied at the end of the day. some Times you'll be studying 5 hrs sometimes 7 (that's the most I did). But when you get closer to the examination then you have to study 7-8 hrs consistently for revision. See for vocabulary you dont need to start gulping up the dictionary, start slow you need to work on the adjectives you use in your paragraphs. If you are attempting descriptive essays, know different descriptive words. You have to read and read alot of sample essays for that.(you get those in solved sample papers)And you'll start retaining those and would start using those the next time you attempt writing compositions. Practice writing at least one composition per week. Speed is the key in language exam , alot of people struggle there and lose marks. Yes, maths ncert+maths ncert exemplar+ any amount of sample paper is important, I heard that many schools don't suggest/provide exemplar to their students due to how lengthy it is, compared to normal ncert.
