He politically out maneuvered communists, other regional parties in northeast to give bjp a good space in Northeast. People will criticise Amit Shah and Modi for taking in certain leaders from Congress to Bjp but it this scenarios like these that justify their actions. Politics is a grey area and power is power.

From my observations, sufficient precautions were not taken for N R C as well as to issue the Adhar Card. Almost every where in Assam one can find the illegal immigrants and it is increasing considerably since last 10/15 years.

First government should catch who are issuing duplicate or fraud aadhar card ...this must have been done by government employees. Who is responsible for border protection of illegal migrants? All are government job people ....they are first responsible for this issues. People should ask who is accountable for the above issues. Only by diverting cases to hindu - muslim, government is presenting a bigger agenda dictated by central mahapurush just to collect votes.

Bank passbook should not be accepted for issuing aadhaar card. And RBI 's guidelines to change bank passbook address based on self declaration should be revoked, with which people are updating address to anywhere they want and after changing address in bank passbook they produce it to update the aadhaar address or issuing a new aadhaar card.
