Thanks Wave! GREAT reaction sir! So obvious that Ellen has leveled way up! Those first two songs were crazy and she was nailing them! And ELLEN always with the coolest hair! This is probably what MIDORI (LoveBites) looked like as she was growing up. I can't wait to see the next ELLEN / YOYOKA project! Everyone loves those two young ladies together. So glad they are great friends! Everything they have done together is awesome and they both just keep leveling up! Someday, it would be very cool to see a FAMI (LoveBites) / ELLEN shredding duo! Also, very impressed with her speaking/narrator skills. That has leveled up as well!
@@athlonen They don't even know about the concert. They live just a few miles from me and I talk to Hovak now and then. They haven't followed the Japanese female scene much, if any. I've sent Hovak a few random links before, but they finally actually seem interested now. Two days ago, I told Hovak, it would be cool if Ellen starting doing some Lovebites, BandMaid covers, and he said he was just thinking that also, so he asked me to send some links and I sent him links to about 15 songs to listen to. You know they will get sucked in. But, thanks for bringing it up. I'm going to text him right now and tell him of the concert date and maybe we can go together. YOYOKA hasn't shown much interest either in her fellow conutry women's bands. If Ellen and Hovak decide to go to the concert, maybe we can suck YOYOKA in. That would be FUN! I met Ellen through YOYOKA when they did The Ocean cover. I also got to go to the Silk Sonic concert with YOYOKA and got to meet Anderson.paak backstage after the concert because I was with her. Wouldn't that be cool if we got to do the same with LOVEBITES! Longshot, but.... Would probably require YOYOKA to get the invite.
OMG!!! I am just awe. Ellen just never ceases to amaze me. Absolutely a Master Bass Player. It takes so many great artists years to learn what she has in just a short time. Truly amazing Ellen. I hope that you are proud of yourself as much as I am. I know that you're Dad and Mom are proud of you know matter how far you go in the field of music. I can't wait until you further your career with your own band. I definitely hope I will be in the audience rocking you on. You little girl are literally someone before your time. Unbelievable. Rock on kid and never ever stop playing the Bass. Brightest Blessings to you and your family Ellen.
I get the feeling that either her dad or her mom are professional video editors by trade because her vids are always expertly done. And from the looks of the equipment in the background, they aren't hurting for money either. I am so looking forward to what Ellen does in music in the years to come.
Mom is a make-up artist and Dad is a professional musician and producer having played with the industry's top well known musicians i.e. Billy Sheehan. He has a supergroup prog band named Octavision with Sheehan, Jeff Scott Soto and Victor Wooten among others.
10:40 is the best bit... Billy Sheehan... her timing and comprehension of phrases that have me (a seasoned pro!) counting bars like a MF... in some of her videos you see her being picked up at school, and she's just a beautiful little munchkin with a huge smile, you'd never for a second think she's this MONSTER player, it's so wholesome.
@@robwhiting6924 No way, I literally can't find any video with Lepond. I'm slowly but starting to believe we are living in the matrix. Okay, I'm just joking right now, but it's weird. Maybe they deleted it.
It's interesting to see that during the Megadeth and Tool tracks she has to watch her right hand a bunch more, presumably because she's using a pick instead of finger picking which she appears to be a lot more used to :)
She is great, truly. But at what point does promotion become exploitation? Her father's business is totally benefiting from her talent. Exposure is great. But......
Yes and no. This was the first video I've seen her plug her Dad's band directly, in four years of videos. Hovart, her dad, appears in most of her vids or else they can't monetize them. That's a TH-cam rule, not his fault. He is extremely protective of her, her privacy and her ability to just be a kid. Otherwise she'd be touring now. But Ellen is only going to be an adorable child prodigy for a very limited time, and he naturally wants her to benefit from that as well. It's a fine balance that he does very well.
@@roxyxxx2715 I played Electric guitar when I were 11-15 of age. I went to music school. And I still thought I was going to be a famous musician up to my late 20s. But not anymore. I do not even own any instrument any longer. I hope I do not annoy any one with my comments. 🙂

Say, aren’t you siphoning off viewcounts from HER channel, when you show her plaing in its entirety?!?
Her father is a kick ass guitarist in a band called Octavision and recorded with Billy Sheehan

Don't tempt her! it's only a 4-hour drive to LoveBites' tour stop in Los Angeles! I wouldn't be surprised if they have the VIP package!

Ellen and Leah Harris just got together on two songs you need to check out. Both are awsom.
Ellen is a prodigy!
Starchild! WOW!
Wave, you are by far the best, in your reaction videos to Ellen’s performances!
I’m glad you appreciate what I do! Thanks!

@edzeljereza8234 Her Dad has a new album out now and Ellen mentions it in this challenge
Ellen, I’m guessing Mike was thrilled to see the fantastic result of his lesson.
Excellent reaction to a very talented young lady! Thanks.
i just love Ellen....She could be in my band right now, she is a Gift
F****n A! What a talented musical genius!
Nice reaction video Wave again, learned from you also.
I love how her eyes laser lock and pay attention
This girl is one in a zillion special person in the world hope there comes more from this star

Such a nice interaction with Lepond, wish it was longer! 😀
Also, you got a sub!
The original post was much longer, I saw it, but don’t remember where.
@@robwhiting6924 Wait what? Maybe that's why it felt like I already seen it before?

Man I would love Misa to teach me it’s because of Misa I’m learning the bass but this is so awesome 👏 good to see this was awesome keep on Rocking 😊🤟

Wave, had to subscribe. Hope you do more of Ellen's magic. You're a great reviewer!!!👌🤘
She's starting to look like a young lady. Great talent.
a beautiful person with a passion for her music
Elle est formidable, elle a un talent fou,, surtout pour son âge, j'adore
Go... Ellen...
Amazing
Great!
IMPRESSIVE!!!!!!!!
She's been 12 for about two weeks.
yes I have been following her for a couple of years and now am a channel member
She's awesome
IMO the most amazing bass prodigy since Alejandra Villarreal of The Warning - same crazy early start and talent, just seven years apart in age.
I feel old. The only ones I know how to play (or used to know) are Sabbath, Maiden, Metallica, Megadeth, Dream Theater, and Tool.
YAY SOUNDS REALLY GOOD
Ellen você é D+, tocar Dream Theter desta forma, tô espantado com sua capacidade.
Misa's been doing bass slides for years.
Here is a thought, if she is this good now imagine her at say 18.
Finely jus saw a. reaction to her and crews Boston Peace of Mind cover. Others have been taken down😢
Ellen does not just play the bass. When she picks up the bass she melds with the bass and She becoms the instrament.
Ellen is also learning the drums
I would like to see Ellen throw down with MISA!
Reaction this final👉 DA Asia 3: Fildan DA4 dan Lesty - Gerimis Melanda Hati ( Konser Kemenangan )
Have you seen yo-yo and Ellen and other kids Muse Hysteria
Omg i sell my gear the bass 😢😢😢 😮😮😮 😅😅😅
Looks like you have

Yoy play this song amazingly good. But try and learn to not stare at the fretboard, but look out on the "Audience". 🙂
Are you also a musician😂😂😂?
