My father bought a 1969 Ford 5000 for our farm in the spring of that year and as a 14 year old I worked it long and hard tilling, cultivating, and harvesting. Dad died the following spring in March 1970. I worked the farm with an uncle that year and we sold out the following spring. I still have a key to that 65 horsepower diesel. It was a sad day when it was sold at the farm sale. Would love to find one like this somewhere. Great classic tractor!
