I agree re the R32 bumpers but the matt black section on the lower of the rear bumper looks gash. It looked gash when they were first released and time hasn’t made it any better (that’s why I always preferred the Ed30 aesthetically).

Let me tell you something, the back end of that golf underneath is super clean for an 07 car. Trust me. So if the back is in great condition underneath the front should be. I've spent over 13 grand on a mk5 golf generation VAG group car. And yours is a minter for 4.5k plus the 850, and detail, so 5.5k.
Great Job; kudos to you and your teammate. Bravo! But a piece of advice... cut the talking half, and you will have an amazing clip. Look forward to your next clip.

I got 22 Reg car after I had done 15000 miles I took it to the garage to get it service, they said they would have to wash it before they could service it, it cost me £6 to get it washed in Asda but at the garage it is free, and in these hard times every little helps said the little old lady peeing into the sea
Also depends what you want doing. My Detailer charges anything between £100 to £1000....as there is about a thousand different things they can do. Google ‘car detailer near me’, take it to them and ask the question, you’ll be surprised with the range of services.

don't change the bumpers keep it stock looking. Hate seeing GTI's with R32 bumpers and colour matched skirts nice to see a good standard MK5 GTI!

Honestly, I don't think it looked that bad considering it hadn't been properly washed in 13 Years.
It was really bad trust me 😂so much contamination in the paint which couldn’t be shown on camera properly
