Jesus is the Messiah and Lord and Savior. John 3:16 For God so loved the world, He gave his only begotten son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish, but have everlasting life. John 14:6- I’m the way, the truth, and the light. NO ONE comes by the Father, EXCEPT though me. Romans 10:17- Faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ. Other verses on The Roman Road- 3:23, 5:8, and 6:23. Also, John 3 and Romans 8. John 3 is about salvation, and Romans 8 is the spirit and flesh. Then, read John, Romans, and the rest of the Gospels. Matthew, Mark, and Luke.
Well in Greece and id say Europe too most gas cars are still manuals actually it is hard to find a non manual for example everyone in my family drive them even most new ones are manuals
You definitely need to restore it! Great car! I learned to drive a stick in a 1986 GTI. I've always loved the boxy body style from the 80's/early 90's GTI.
what an amazing transformation, love watching you guys, being from the uk, 99% of us learn to drive in manuals (stick) and the majority of us mostly drive manuals, automatics have certainly become a lot more popular now but its very rare to find someone in the uk who cant drive a manual, keep up the outstanding work guys, amazing
Love your videos guys. First off, I think you should restore the car as it is rather rare. Of course, that depends on how much you want to spend but it is a good-looking car. Yes, I do know how to drive a stick. I actually learned on a yellow Maverick that had the old three on the tree shifter. Again, love your channel and keep up the good work!
I love the Mk4 body style. The 20th Anniversary GTI is a personal fave. If you can fine the correct engine (1.8) with its appropriate computer, the correct wheels, tires and brakes plus any other missing bits and bobs, it would be a great car. Even better - it’s a manual. Too bad it isn’t blue. Much better color that year. Learned to drive a stick when I was 9 or 10 in a 67 beetle! Drove a stick until just a few years ago.
*I LOVED this GTi the most. It's a shame the owner butchered it. The 2.8L VR6 staggered inline 6 was FAST and fun. I drove one for a while. 6-speed manual. My absolute favorite car ever!!*
I owned and drove a Golf GTI for 12 years straight but was forced to sell once my second child was coming along. I was devastated to see it go (I still miss that car dearly). It was a dream car of mine forever and purchased mine new off the showroom floor. It was my baby before my “real” babies came along. My vote is to restore this thing without question. Find a set of original style rims also. They are a great looking wheel. I know they were found on the Golf R’s at the time so they’re out there. Slap a VR6 in this thing and rip it. I’d love to get another GTI someday.
Another great job! I like the all yellow look better for this car. These GTIs are a lot of fun to drive. Hopefully someone will get it put back together and running again.
What a sweet GTI… I can’t believe they painted the trim black… at least they seemed to have done a good job masking. The car I learned to drive in was a 1979 Diesel Volkswagen Dasher with a manual transmission, and I love a row your own Dub! I hope we get to see updates on this project… Are you going to put a new engine in it?
I know this is an older video I missed, but I can drive a stick!! My sister taught me at 10 on her 78 YELLOW ford fiesta, 4 speed, manual everything. Thanks for the memory, she passed sway suddenly this last February. Gonna miss her forever.
The VW 1.8T 20V engines that these came with are great. Modified versions of them were even used in Formula 2 cars from 2009 to 2012 and produced 450hp in qualifying spec. The GTi Anniversary Edition also had a bit bigger turbo and produced about 30hp more than the standard GTi.
Gotta love how a proper GTI drives. I've had a few VW's.. '85 Scirocco, '86 GTI, '95 Golf Sport, '95 GTI VR6 , and a '03 GLI VR6. Haven't driven a stick since I sold my '04 Audi S4 in 2015.. Will have to get an older fun car soon! Enjoy your content, keep it up!
I like the yellow trim! Tough call on the engine. Did you get an engine with it? The exterior looks pretty decent, so I’d say to rebuild the engine or find a donor vehicle. I’m 58 and I can drive a stick shift. I had a VW Golf with stick shift.
I think it looks better with the yellow stripes and different wheels, not even the factory ones. RPF1's looks very good on these cars. If you want to put it back on the road it all depends on what you got along with the car, good usable engine, turbo and other parts. If you don't have the majority of the parts then it might not be worth it because those parts are pretty expensive, my 2 cents. Good luck with it :)
One of the front seats is probably from a 337 edition GTI, hence the different stitching. You can pick up used AWP 1.8T engines for under $500. I would fix the car up and then flip it or keep it. Depending on condition and mileage you could fetch 10k + for the car in the end.

Definitely put everything back as it rolled out of the factory and put the original wheels back on :) thank you for a great video

Cleaning step is always satisfying to watch 👌
Happy to say I’m buying my first stick on Thursday. 2000 Golf GLS with no rust and only 120k miles. I could not be more excited.
Owned an 83’, 88’, 16’ and loved them all.
Bring it back on the road!!!!
We called it Euro Style back in my day, all the same color... loved it
Id say go for rebuilding it, would make a great playlist for the channel and interesting for us to watch. Adds a little something different to the channel
DEFINITELY THE PICTURE!!! Cool car....Great job as always y'all
Had a 2000 mk4 gti for 15 years absolutely loved it
Insane transformation! Love to see this kind of videos.
I myself have been introduced to the tuning world by Golf Mk4 and if you take care of her, the car will thank you. One of the most tuning friendly engines out there. And with the jubi all wheel drive, you are having acceleration monster right there.
I"m 59, got an 2003 golf 4door, runs perfact cause I maintain it 247, 000 plus miles. Killer audio system, Focal, JBL, AUdioControl>Pioneer,.Love my Golf ! Oh , its a 5speed manual learned to drive manuals back in the late 70s
Learned to drive a stick right off at the start of my driving, in a 1960 Beetle. This Golf definitely needs restoring, looks rust free, too. Great handling cars, reliable, quick, and easy on the gas and pocketbook.
I think it needs putting back together
It’s in such good shape and it is so special
The most beautiful VWs are the most uncommon, this car Is gorgeous, It deserves being rebuilt
Definitely need to restore and get it back on the roads!! Those are great cars and fun to drive!! I would also take it back to full yellow and get rid of the black. I learned to drive stick on a 1995 Chevy S10.
