Instead of storing pollen and chance it's viability long term, just clone the male and reflower it when you need the pollen.

Great idea if you have the space fr it. Probably best to keep both juuuust in case. Lose one you don’t lose everything.

some autos don’t automatically flower because the auto flowering gene isn’t being expressed, and is not the dominant gene.
through genetically stabilization, and selection the autoflower gene can become the most expected outcome. i wonder how Daz from NightOwl breeds his autoflowers? his selection process and how he determines stability for auto genetics. is it a lab test? does he just observe the plant?
it would be cool to see some autoflower breeders on the show.

there are some really good auto breeder interviews out there.
There was one I watched about a year ago and with 2 auto breeders.
They said that anything before f3 is unstable so f4 and on you will finally be able to breed in auto traits consistently.
F2 is the biggest mess or biggest hunt for the right phenos and only 50% are autos at that time.

Wow...I thought keep F1 F2 for my experiments...and look at f3 and f4 for stability. It seems to me that you separate traits into primary and secondary groups based on how difficult the traits are to stabilize. I guess if the goal is to stabilize the strain we have to run the line until we get what we which is unknown(individual plants genetics). After that we back cross. Thanks you for the correction. Your videos are a part of my studying routine. Please forgive the crazy comments but the more I use the language in my comments the more I learn and practice. Respect and Thanks Ray!

At f4 you may have narrowed it down to three or four genotypes. I doubt anyone is taking it to f7 or 8, especially in today's market.

I don’t like auto’s. I think it’s a shortcut for people who don’t want to learn about nutrients.

If you use Gaia green what is there to learn about pretty much I mean there's two containers and then you can use some worm castings 😂 Autos are triple fantastic man all the ones I've had😂

I think as a new grower if you get autos nd they are not, it demoralizers your idea of growing!
This is where regulars will always rein as you can explain what to do to new growers and they will get it!
But when you explain autos tons of bro science starts seeping in!
    Like 24hours on!
    ahhahahahahahhahhahahah
CropKingSeeds has produced many autos that are not autos!
From personal friends to other youtubers breeders need to breed what they say or keep it real!
Say you are in development and maybe 80% are autos!
Regular seeds are easy and fun to pick and choose!

Get your Autos from a reputable company or somebody that's been in the game for more than 10 years and I think you'll have stable genetics for example Dutch Passion is pretty stable on their autos

      @@Catch_u_reloadn Thank you bro!
Me personally I love older strains and only ever seek regular seeds.
