Microsoft Defender for Office 365 - How to Protect Your Email from Hackers

For Microsoft 365 users, how does Microsoft protect your email?
What does Microsoft do to protect your email? What technology do they have in place to make sure you don’t become the victim of a cyber-attack? And, does Microsoft provide everything you need? Or do you need to buy a third-party bolt-on for extra protection?
Anytime you buy a Microsoft 365 mailbox - that could be an exchange online mailbox on its own or a mailbox that is part of Microsoft 365 business basic or standard - you will get Microsoft’s basic email protection - which is called Exchange Online Protection.
So, is that all you need? Or do you need more protection for your email? Well, in my opinion, you need more and that opinion seems to be shared with Microsoft too because they have an advanced email security product called Defender for Office 365.
Defender for Office 365 is available in two flavours - Defender for Office 365 Plan 1 and Defender for Office 365 Plan 2
These are both available as standalone products, so you can choose to buy either plan 1 or plan 2 and add them to your email for extra protection. These are reasonably priced. I’ve listed them here in British Pound, but you can do your conversion to your local country.

Jonathan, great video, ties in nicely with your longer video on configuring Threat Protection policies for Office 365. Quick question, is there any mileage in me purchasing 2 copies of plan 2, 1) for global admin to keep up and 2) a peripatetic plan 2 licence which I can move around my user for attack simulation training?

nice video , but i got hacked on my email even thought having the program. and still aim getting attacks of logins from randoms ips to enter my email but microsoft do nothing
