Well wet hay has some uses too but usually not very profitable ones. The fact that it sounds like it was a very light rain that was quick allows for drying will keep you hay very good.
Funny that you are excited to eat at Colvers every time I make it to the big city( Colorado Springs, Pueblo or Denver) I have to go there at least once! Burgers are amazing but the Cod is even better!
Have you thought about putting some temporary or semi-perm covering for bales in front of the house where that old building was? Could be as simple as a tarp to put them on and a tarp to cover'em.
Big bales are like little bales they soak moisture up from all sides, never let them sit in field over night or for days. Also if questionable on moisture put a good layer of fine feed salt on the bales before stacking them! 30+ years in the hay business myself family a lot longer. And we are in the north so we fight weather heavy hay and dews!
It's awesome to have friends who love you and want you to not fail I know you went threw a lot of crap these people have no clue of and it's really heartbreaking I've been through the same thing and it's not easy thank God for friends.. great video as always and don't let the aholes bother you there just wish there had your ambition 💪💪💪💪😎😎🤠
I guess maybe if you didn't run all over and eat out all the time could save some money to at least buy tarps to cover thing, probably 3 meals that you buy could buy a tarp including the food to make your own lunch. Sun and weather is hard on everything when just sitting outside. I know its hard and simpler to just let it sit outside but would save money buy at least tarping them
@@flyinryan1986what a waste of time that would be 😂😂. My corn planter sits outside year-round all I do is spray it down real good with a mixture of fluid film and diesel fuel after power washing.
You know the corn planter is supposed to go in the non-existant storage area that you don't have yet along with the mack and the 7520 lol you're doing great with what you have keep up the great content Chris
Mr Doesn't know Much, most Farmers need help to get things accomplished, what do you think Farm Contractors are for, don't be an even bigger Mug, than you already are.
Shit you might be able to get the bank to cover a small loan for bale building or some such. Put together business plan for the loan for the bale side of the farm/business.
Thank you Ridge for being today video sponsor and go check out ridge.com/duffyag to get your self entered in the massive sweepstakes

Chris get that hay sold thank you for sharing and your time have fun enjoy your self
Sometimes you have to change your plans the farm comes first when it's in season
Glad that you got the hay picked up, learning as you go,a couple of tarps would help you out.
Right on time ! Here We Go !!
Looks like you got lucky with that hay. Definitely a short sharp rainfall.
can't you use cheap-o billboard tarps to cover the tops of the hay bales for a short time?

Good job, boys ,have fun .
Dollar store or what ever you call them in USA have a few good stuff for temporary fixes
You got it in the bale dry that's the magic let them out in the sun for acouple days you won't loose but a couple points grass is very durable

@@markjones-nb5fh Never mind Mr Nosey, maybe if you Trolls, use what brain cells you have, you might be able to work that out. Some joke you are 😂😂

I suggest you put them up for sale and see if you get any big bites
Might have to put a few bales in the house garage! Lol
I see a return of hoop barns in your near future. I know the parking is nice.... but, They would go nice in the pad you made next to the pumps.
Have a good trip

What would be the good of a tarp the bales were still spread all over the field when the rain hit. 🤦♂️🤦♂️
@@Otherrandomguy42 for his equipment like for planter and combine. He made a comment about planter sitting out

Why don't you buy the tarps for gim since they bother you that much?
The neighbors Indian TeePee/Wigwam looks cool!!
Longer shot of that sometime would be cool 😎
Great job Duff !
Glad things worked out.
I've heard it's bad to leave 3 points up. Eventually the valve or cylinder will start leaking.
That's a good price, just quoted 5500.00 for an in frame rebuild.
That would be great if Robet actually shows up.
Why don't you have tarps for the hay
tried to find you but no luck we had our D17 D there and 3 botton plow there I will be watchin!!!!!!

Even them dollar Rama or buck or two or them stores tarps are couple dollars and they work good
Should tarp the corn planter or put it in your garage.
A hoop shelter would be good for storage and venting
He has one at the family place he got kicked off of. Wonder if brother would break it down and get it shipped?
@@wadesellers7748 he sold the building and the blocks to his brother
If he gets one it should be a iron one because off the wind that blows on the farm
Good stuff Chris.
Is it possible to build a large storage building where the partschopper is parked
