I have been one of your constant listeners in your podcast's last two years. Can you imagine that last week I was interviewed by a panel of three British people? They told me that I speak a British accent asking where I learn or if I had been to the UK. Power of listening. Thank you, Luke.

Hello teacher Luke! At the end of the episode 57:29 you mentioned something about the spirit you want to bring to the podcast and how hard to do that when you are alone in front of the camera etc. and I just thought I should tell you how fun and entertaining your podcast is!! Next time when you feel that why just remember that there are people like me treat your podcast as their favorite series or TV show. So I think You succeeded to the point that made me watch your episodes for fun. Thank you and have a lovely day.

hey Luke~ I have been an avid listener of your good podcast~ When your podcast was "not loading" in China, I was quite sad actually. Now that I've got a stable VPN, everything is back to normal. I am also elated to learn that you will have a son too, congrats! You know what, I like your podcast so much that I even named my second son after you. I hope he will grow up to be somebody like you, spreading knowledge and wisdom using his particular set of skills. BTW, in Chinese culture, yours is the most blissful family one can ever expect, because you already had a daughter which in Chinese is a "女", and you will pretty soon have a son which in Chinese is a "子", the combination of these two characters results in "好", which means "great" and it is pronounced as "hao(third tone)". Ergo, yours is the kind of family being envied here in China. Best wishes to you and yours. I will keep on listening to your podcast voraciously and also recommending more people around me to learn from you. Thanks indeed!

Hi Luke, Im an another Korean listener, i found your channel on youtube 3days ago (actually it was algorithm suggestion not me anyway) and i like this kind of contents and i found myself not left as a skeleton until the end of this rambling episode!!! You suggested your podcast but since my English listening is poor I'd like to turn the auto subtitle on and listen and watch to you at the same time!!! Also its very fun to see your pronouncing lips and your face expressions, I'd prefer the youtube video rather than just listening to the podcast!!! If you read this comment i hope that you listen to me and i hope you to stick to youtube more than podcast because youtube video satisfies more than one sense!!!(listening and watching) congrats on your child no.2 and have a lovely day!!! 감사합니다~~

    Hi Luke
I "discovered" you a short time ago, and since then I listen to you every day. Even on some sleepless nights I put on the episodes I've listened the most (like the three-hour mega ramble about Paris, the elephant bird and your delirious text about the Chatelet station) to distract me and finally fall asleep. That's wonderful, even though it might sound like your podcast is good at making people fall asleep!!! No, quite the opposite. Because it's so pleasant, it boosts my mood, and allows me to recover my sleep. Few things do that, so I have a lot to thank you for, Luke. I subscribed to your premium programme yesterday, but I haven't tried it yet.
Well, I'm glad your son was born healthy and without problems. I hope you're getting through these early days of parenthood without too much stress. I send you a hug, and thank you for being such a good English teacher, and above all such a nice, humorous and witty person.

Could you please make a podcast explaining, in your opinion, why some people who are learning English can comprehend and understand well, but struggle to speak fluently? thanks

I like you rumbling by your own, because the point is learning (to me)

Hey Luke. I am listening to your podcast the other way around. I've already listened since the newest (836) to this episode (820), and I can tell you you are the best that I've ever listened to. Now I'll continue with 819 and so on. Congrats!

In general, I like Luke's videos that are long and tend to wander off topic. I specifically enjoy the videos that are at least an hour in length, as I’m interested in consuming content that is both lengthy and detailed. Luke's rambling videos do not follow a strict structure or topic, but rather explore various ideas and tangents. I find value and enjoyment in watching them.

Love to listen to your podcasts, they are so true and alive. Sometimes I do become a skeleton, so I stop watching and divide a podcast into two parts.
But anyway, enjoy listening you, and this way enrich my English.
Blessings to your upcoming baby and your wife!
