How To Make Soft Oats Puttu/സോഫ്റ്റ്‌ & ടേസ്റ്റി ഓട്സ് പുട്ട്- Fool Proof Recipe

Ingredients:
Oats
Grated coconut
Salt
Steps:
Powder the oats finely.
Transfer it to a bowl and add salt.
Add water in batches and mix the oats powder.
You should be able to make a ball out of it. That's the right consistency.
Transfer this to the mixie jar and pulse a couple of times.
Break the lumps, if any.
Add 2 tbsp of coconut to the puttu maker and then 3 tbsp of flour.
Repeat this till the puttu maker is loosely full.
Take 2 cups of water in a pressure cooker and cover with the lid. Don't use the whistle.
Place the puttu maker on the vent pipe on the top of the cooker. Steam it on high flame.
When the steam starts coming out of the puttu maker, don't turn off fire immediately.
Wait for another 3-4 minutes for the puttu to get cooked completely.
Turn off the fire and transfer the puttu to a plate.
Oats puttu is ready.

Dry roast this powder till u get a nice aroma. Then let it cool, and then add salt, water and mix. After that u can use mixie or just a sieve(arippu) to get nice mixture. Then make puttu as usual. Raw unroasted oats is sticky and messy. Thank u.
