Available In Theaters on March 28th
    Directed by: Sébastien Chabot
Shortly before his passing at the age of 86, influential gardener and horticulturalist Frank Cabot recounted his personal quest for perfection at Les Quatre Vents, his twenty-acre English style garden and summer estate that was opened to a film crew for the first time ever in 2009. Nestled amongst the rolling hills of the Charlevoix County in Quebec, Les Quatre Vents has become one of the world’s foremost private gardens. Created over 75 years and three generations, it is an enchanted place of beauty and surprise, a horticultural masterpiece of the 21st century. Through the words of Cabot and his family, and with the participation of gardening experts and writers, the film looks back at this remarkable man's personal story and the artistic philosophy that gave birth to one of the greatest gardens in the world.

Just watched this and found it quite moving. His point that at it's best, a garden evokes a metaphysical response really struck home. When one quiets oneself in nature, this is easy to experience but a garden is somewhat domesticated nature and as such, presents the possibility of a connection which can't be described as better or worse but certainly different.
Imagine my surprise when I learned that his other garden in Cold Spring, NY (Stonecrop Gardens) was just down the road from Clarence Fahnestock State Park. This was one of my group of friends' favorite places to go hang out back in the early 80s. We lived in Wappingers Falls which was quite close.

It's amazing what people can do when they have the time and money. Unfortunately most of us will never achieve our full potential because we are too busy slaving away, funding the retirements of people like this.

I want to watch this. I am not trying to be cheap but just fixed income but I hope I can find free.
There is a movie where I can't quote it exactly but the guy says he is in search of his garden of Eden. That the first place God put was in a garden. I don't want to get all religious here to not offend some but I thought that that was lovely. Gardens bring peace and beauty. They remind me of my father, mother and aunt. I love gardens.

This documentary is a wonderful story about a very interesting man and his vision. It’s slightly sours at the end where Netflix interjects climate change propaganda. Inspiring though.

Amazing that the lady said she didn't believe in God, but Frank Cabot is attempting to take credit for God's creation. Why look for something God-like when you don't believe in God?

Makes me hate looking at my crappy, pathetic "garden" that I can't afford to upgrade and beautify. Thanks for nothing.

@@lorettanericcio-bohlman567 Paradoxically, no. I don't have much time to myself because everyone I know wants me to go with them, or be with them.for one thing or another. It's exhausting!
