Both styles are so charming! 90s nostalgia at its finest.
They could have the episode titles graphic on the remake like the 90s cartoon it looks bland & empty, but i do love the art style on the remake if looks like the actual cartoon from the 90s

Tommy looks like Bonk with the Nes Graphics.
The game was actually released for the NES, cartridge and all.
That explains why HD is terrible. It crops a ton. You don't even see the reptar coin at the beginning, and the cutscenes are lazily animated but NES is way more charming ,and better text boxes.
@@MrVariant Thankfully, you can play both styles in the modern consoles.

yeah i was kind of wondering why this felt more like the old continuity than the reboot which is what i prefer.
Great game really. But i have to say that iam a bit disappointed with the 8 bit graphics. There could have done so much better. This is not even close to the best looking games for the Nes. it lacks detail a lot. Games like Kirbys adventure looks so much better.
