Great video and very good idea about keeping a battery backup for the lights in your kit

I know looking at the camera is weird, you should get a screen so you can at least see yourself and not a camera lens. Cheers! Great stuff

Interesting video. I have a question : Does the Olight Baldr Pro R fits ok on the Staccato XC ?

      I do not know.
I have a Girsan mc1911c 10mm which is the same size as the Staccato P, and it fits.

I'm trying to find holsters will those fit in the same holsters if the end is open? I see it's a bit longer on the baldr pro R . Buy if dimensions are similar I may be able to make it work

Im tracking, I believe so. My holster was open eneded, but I heated and folded it before I got the Baldr, so I never tried it.

    Pro r is junk
Mediocre light, 800 peak lumens, not 1350.
The components for zeroing the laser are sooo loose you lose your zero when you remove the Allen wrench.
    Don’t waste your money

I think it’s a problem that the Baldr Pro R takes longer to charge then the length of the fully charged battery. The way I see it if something takes 1 hour to charge the least if could give me is 2 hours of run time. Olights are great but their batteries are the biggest setback.

I see your point. Whether or not purchaseing the light is worth it comes down to your philosophy of use. The way I use “weapon” lights is often for bump in the night stuff, but very minimal and intermittent. Not having to spend money on replacing the batteries all the time is great. If my POU was extended use, and as a primary light over a headlamp or other, being able to replace the batteries on the spot would be my choice.
Otherwise keep a headlamp as a primary and run the weapon light as needed… top off the batter during the day.
I’m going to look into some type of small solar powered battery bank that could also recharge on the go if the situation called for it…

what about the size comparison, i have the Valkyrie with custom kydex holsters for several guns made for that light, will the Baldr pro fit?

Hey Johnny, in handling them it appears so. I will confirm it when I get home from work today…

Hey Johnny, I just made a short video response for you, so you can see a side by side comparison and fitment in my legacy firearms co holster… hope it helps.

Olight weaponlights are junk, I've had nothing but issues with them. If your looking for lights on airsoft guns they are perfect!

Haha, then why are you watching videos on them ?

      love these yt rambo comments😂
i also have both lights and i cant say nothing bad about them.
the pl pro is a nice bang for the buck option and functions just like it should without any issues.
i just received the baldr pro r (dark tan) yesterday(love the inbuild laser),
and after fiddeling around, setting it up and dry testing i can asure everybody that this light is worth its price☝🏾
      build quality is flawless!
      i have a x300v,a tlr7,a inforce gen3
and also was dumb enough to lay the money on the table for a x400v-b-irc....and yes even the battery technology☝🏾 in those olights are advanced to the usual cr123/a lithium's.
you can only drain so much and so many times out of a cr123/a.
you dont have to roll over with your truck, set it on fire, let it drop 50x from 2m,throw it in a lake for a day, just to pull it out and tell everybody how bad the light is.....
how many of you non yt qvc employees really have done that to your mighty "surefire"? just to tell everybody how nice it is?!
both scenes are not making any sense🤷🏾‍♂️
let us pray that none of us will ever have to use these items.
let us rather count our blessings and be thankfull for every day we are able to open our eyes...for another day with our loved ones.
who cares wich light is the best, when you make someone else rich so HE,not YOU! can fullfill his dreams and live FREE?!☝🏾
the consumer mind is a strange thing and often not to be grasped and understood....
