I had the absolute pleasure of following these guys all over the country for a couple of years. Top guys, brilliant songs and fantastic memories. The songs still sound relevant. Great times, thanks gents. Best wishes Kiddy Dave
Fantastic band... saw them a few times late 80s early 90s... first time was supporting The Perfect Disaster at The Zap, Brighton (they blew them off stage), last time was headlining Reading University
This is brilliant. Thanks for uploading! Loved TFC and their gigs were amazing, this really gives a flavour. This is the first time I’ve seen a live version of Too Many Late Nights on YT, a thrilling song and gig opener.
Furthest from the sun is still in my top ten favourite albums after all these years. Cat are a b side band aswell you have to have everything now dont you xx
Ace band! I liked their early stuff 1989 "Surfin'" LP and the 1990 singles a lot. Saw them 1989 at the Dingwalls, London, and they were fantastic. Support band was Bradford, also nice.
This is utterly amazing, thanks for uploading - great sound quality and visuals after all these years. Never heard of this festival at all. The Cat sound astonishingly good here and you get a glimpse of what made them so special live. As everyone says, they were massively under-rated considering the quality of their music and performances - I often think that the three guitars were too much for people to get their heads around at a time when other bands simply didn't do that. Still, they burned brightly and I'll always be glad I saw them live. Thanks again.
The best band I've ever seen live and it really comes across here. I first saw them at Junction 10 in Walsall, supported by Power Of Dreams and they blew me away. I went out the next day and bought everything they'd put out up until Place With A Name and I can honestly say I can't think of day since then when I've not played at least one of their songs. All other bands are, indeed, dogshite.

One of the best UK bands ever - imagine this now.

I was lucky enough to see them several times - shit hot is an understatement.

The greatest rock n' Roll band to have never made it big
They were special live and this performance certainly shows that fact. Simply brilliant, still to this day sounds great. 👍
Best band on the planet ever!

The only band I ever stage-dived too!
The Telescopes were another at that time who used three guitars and I LOVED them a lot (still do)
such a great band, should have been huge. Brit pop wrecked alot of careers.
Fantastic sound quality, thank you for uploading. They were a fabulous band to see live,. Glad I had the pleasure. Wish I could find them on Spotify.
They are still the best live band I've seen. Both albums and a few singles are on Apple Music if that's any good to you.
Great performance

I've never heard of this festival... Does anyone where it was?
Town and Country Club I believe.
It was at Alexandra Palace celebrating Town and Country club anniversary, The Cat were first band on, headliners were The Stranglers
