Hi Great tip with the painting the edges. What paint set have you used please? I've been making your fabulous kits for many years and always cover the white edges with painting the edges. Thanks Stevie 😊
True, but the solvents used in felt tip pens tend to be absorbed into the card much more than water-based paints, which leads to darker colours on the edge if you choose the wrong colour. Window and door openings can be done in the same way. It just requires careful planning before gluing things together.
Just be careful not to slice your thumb with the crafting knife like I did and ended up in A&E!!! This being on my first attempt at house backs, looking to see which design I want to do next...hopefully do a better job of it next time.
Great technique. Straightaway there's depth to the corners... Thanks!

Great idea. I use children's pencils but your usually stuck with the colour of the pencil set so this way will give you better shades. 👍
Echt super habe mehrere gebäude
What a shame Metcalfe don't sell water colour paints that are the same colour as there cards, especially the grey stone and brick red.
A felt pen is much easier. What about the edges of the window openings?
