Black was and is my main character since day 1, and is one of the most dangerous characters in the whole game. I've always said that, but mankind thinks he's the worst character in the whole game when I look at the lists. but no matter the day will come when they will buff this character extremely blatantly. and then it gets hot everywhere, wow, I've been waiting for it all my life my boy black finally gets what he deserves, but have never really played the character before. hahahahaha. I'm looking forward to these specialists again hahahaha.
As a fellow day 1 Black main, I can sadly confirm he is the worse functional character in this game. His biggest issues is really his inability to abuse the respect he creates. Specifically he lacks a reliable cross up button. He's not the worse, he can't be when Gogeta and Frieza exist as they are now. Black works, but only on point and needs assists to function. He's not one of the most dangerous characters in the game, far far from it. His neutral is lackluster in comparison, his pressure is lackluster, and damage is mediocre. Even his oki isn't that stellar. Outside the corner, Black's lvl 3 doesn't guarantee anything. Black does have IT 50/50s, but that alone won't make him good. Thankfully, he's only 3 buffs away from being bottom 3, and given how the rest of the playerbase views him it is very likely he'll get the Jiren treatment.

And i have one of the best Blacks in the World for Sure i can swear for that believe me. If u mean Black is not dangerous than play With me i Show u How dangerous this charakter can be. He had one of the best Auto combos ever and his heavy and down Heavy is one of the best in the game ???? His Overhead is one of the best ???? What u talking about ??? And his combos Makes Whats not damage ?? Or bot enough ??? Are u serious bro??? Yeah he is not broly s or Ui but if u know how to combinated all These things that i say, believe me Black is a beast.

@@whYLiE09 he was good, definitely up there, but not the best. 16 is probably who I'd put as the best day 1 character. Cell and A.Gohan were also stupid good. Black just had a retarded 236H that scaled so little. Took him far but not enough for best char in the game.

At an amateur level for sure man. Unfortunately at a pro level he is pretty much worthless, as in, everything he does, somebody else can do it better. Still my favorite character to play with. Hope they buff him when the next patch drops with the new character.
This new 50/50 mix actually gives him a bit if hope though. Obviously there are better picks but it gives him more of a fighting chance for anyone that sticks to him.

Kevin Nguyen Pretty surprising considering I watch so much gameplay and never see anyone use it. I'll just take your word for it. I imagine it's a combination of him being more popular with casual players and the set up being more difficult to do consistently than your average 50/50.

Throughout the battle you can see popo trying to use the SJ install...
When mastered you can use basically any assist to use goku black mix... He doesnt necessarily need a pushback assist, because the ex teleport is high enough to cross up even standing broly/16.
He accidentally gets a super jump j.l because he is missing the input of pressing down, then up and L at the same time... But there are times where he actually does it correctly in which he does get the cross up.
I've been playing goku wack since season 2, practicing this sj install mix only because goku black is cool to me.... Sure other characters can get the same mix like Cell and Blueku (believed to be better characters) but their mix wasnt hidden behind execution.
Thing that i hate most about the season 4 update when they buffed goku black was when they automatically put the sj install in the move... Meaning all my practice to get that mix was for basically nothing, but hey... At least its easier to do ig. Ngl sometimes i manually put the sj install anyways still, but thats just a personal opinion. (Plus i think i get it from playing tekken, where execution is everything)
Sidenote: you can see that OB tried to do the same thing at 9:35 but airdashed instead which telegraphed the mix with sj install no airdash is needed, so its a true 50/50 in a sense

This game sucks. Play a real fighter like Soul Calibur 6
