This seriously needs to be said. Just because X player is good with a bad character doesn't mean that character isn't bad, give credit for the player for making that bad character work.
No it does mean exactly that because we're all humans we all have capabilities and we all have potentials and that means there could be a worse zamasu player out there but it also means there can be a better zamasu player out there.

Zamasu is the type of character that you have to be careful with, any buffs and he can easily be top tier

OB is the assassin that universe 7 don't deserve
tbh, Zamasu isn't bad at all. All he needs is his neutral to not suck so he can properly play in the point war and abuse both assists. His buttons are godlike, damage is second to none, and his mix enabled by assists and lightning pressure is insane.
no amount of assist are gonna make Zamasu flight useful
@@okey6470 it's useful for stalling, repositioning, and his non tick throw 50/50s. Besides that it's only used in combos.

I would unironocally like to know, why is Zamasu bad? His mix is good, his damage is good and his neutral seems to be good as well. Besides his garbage ki blast, whats so bad about him?

His specials are too slow.. bad framedata in 5h,5m... No air 2h to convert from air to air... His 5s don't hit Crouchers nor small characters ever ... His lv3 has the worst tracking in the game....Also his A and B assists suck.

He has no mix up options and his neutral is terrible
Only thing he is good at is being a shotgun
As a former Zamasu main back to playing Trunks (how ironic) all I want
1: fix his 5S ffs
2: 236S faster startup, more hit stun on his charged version, also make it aimable upwards (and downwards in the air) [they could just fuck around & make his charged 236S beat other projectiles too, but you would need to keep the start-up the way it is rn]
3: fuck it, make his flight cancels like UMVC3 Magneto. Minimal to no recovery on his flight stance. Instantly makes him more fun
4: 214L/M/H beam property. Also make it like Janembas orbs where you can detonate them manually and even if you don’t, they still go off automatically like they do now. (M & H could also have higher hit stun cuz why not)
I would also buff the start up a lot too seeing as maybe you could introduce a new interesting mind game with his 214L where 1. you activate the orbs and detonate immediately (or not I.e they respect you), continuing pressure, 2. or if your opponent tries to mash late (or guess wrong with the reflect) they get punished, 3. You punish it how you’ve always punished it up to now = react to Zamasu activating orbs
I also feel like 214H should be uninterruptible mid block string kinda like how if Tohan wanted to mix with Legs, he almost always has to use 236H. But he could switch it up with 236M. Hence the 214L/214H potential mind game with Zamasu
5: his air lariat needs MUCH faster startup & also needs to travel MUCH further downwards. [and just for the Lulz], his M & H lariat should deadass go full screen & beat ki-blasts (with H lariat enabling you to combo into it; the Ground & Air version, oh and it shouldn’t take away your smash/SKD after you use it, kinda like Tohans 236H on ground). As well as apply the flight cancel changes.

Bro thank you for saying this. I do not play Zamasu, but I know this character is not as bad as they make him out to be. His main problem is his neutral. Other than that I do not see why he is considered the worst character in the game.
And his level 3 dosent work in dhc with some character
