Brother someone tell me the ideology of Pakistan tereek telaban, these people are claiming to be Islamists but on the other hand they are killing innocent people. Like the attack on small children in a school in Peshawar. They mimic the look and feel of ancient Islamic fighters and people take them as Islamic Mujahideen but in reality the whole organization is like khawarijs , maybe some people in the organization are on the right path of Islam but overall The majority is not. Since 2001, they have caused huge damage to Pakistani and Afghani people. Both human and material loss. There is no justification in Islam for killing innocent people and small children for revenge. There is a quote in the Holy Quran "If you kill an innocent person, it means you have killed the whole of humanity and if you save one person, it means you have saved the whole of humanity

Now Pakistan have to worry about light armed terrorists which is a lot better than facing the threat of superior fire power of a conventional military. Taliban will never have tanks, crafts and missiles that you need to win a decisive victory against a military power like Pakistan. Moreover, being a militia they are prone to factionalism and infighting. Additional, unlike former regine Afghan Taliban are extremely unpopular. No support will come from Hazara and Tajik section for them. Where Shia, sufis and salafis will also hold grudges for them. This make Taliban regime inherently unstable. Therefore, Pakistan did a right thing by supporting these cave men.

Around a 1000 pak security personnel have been killed in the last one year by TTP, everyday 3-5 are dying. Swat is almost controlled by the Taliban and they are advancing to take whole KPK. I doubt the conventional military of Afghanistan would have done all this. Plus the conventional army can be defeated by destroying the command structure, it is much harder to destroy an insurgency.
